# Hello world!

It's been silent for a while, but @steemdunk is back with another major update! To start things off, our server has been migrated to @privex hosting, with less than 30 seconds of down time on the bot and web service, everything is running smoothly. While that was in the works, a heap of other new features and fixed were added. There are plans to add additional servers in the future as backups to ensure the service will never go down.

@steemdunk has over _900_ members registered on the platform! Not too long ago we were barely reaching 200 members. If you're a new member, welcome! This update introduces new changes to help the newcomer.

## Plans and payments

Two new plans have been added, diamond and platinum! Diamond allows curating up to **500** authors and platinum allows curating up to **4000** authors.

We now support monthly payments! Monthly payments are still cheap, but slightly more expensive than annual, so if you'd like to test drive @steemdunk at the large scale, use the monthly option and then later switch over to an annual payment model (allowing you to save in the long term).

## Bandwidth monitoring

Some of our minnows suffer from low bandwidth and often ask why their vote failed. The cause can either be voting power is too low or insufficient bandwidth. As a result, we now have bandwidth monitoring so our members can monitor everything in a single place.

The bandwidth system is designed to prevent network flooding while keeping transactions completely free on the network. The amount of bandwidth you have fluctuates based on how much Steem Power your account has and how much load the network is under. During peak times, it's possible for minnows to be unable to perform any action on Steemit.

## Attention delegators

Whales and dolphins: We need your help! I'm (@samrg472) already delegating the majority of my steem power to @steemdunk. If you'd like to help the community and earn a passive income, read on...

The goal is to significantly increase the voting power of the bot in order to serve more users. Right now we suffer from a lack of voting power, which hinders our ability to serve greater payouts and our users from actually using the bot. We also want to keep free upvotes a feature to help the overall community.

Delegators will receive a portion of the reward pool from paid upvotes. 75% of the reward pool is paid to delegators (in the future, this will increase as we get more steem power). The more steem power delegated, the greater portion of the reward pool you will receive. This can be great as a passive income.

Replace "YOURNAMEHERE" with your account name and replace "vesting_shares" with the amount you'd like to delegate. As soon as the operation is broadcasted, you will be automatically registered as a sponsor and will start receiving payouts during the next payout cycle.

## Other changes

- Labels in the stats are now always centered
- The paid upvote bot now supports busy links
- The comment template for free & paid upvotes have changed
- Fixed incorrect scrolling after sorting the author curation list
- All dependencies were updated on the web server and bot

## Developers

Steemdunk has been migrated to a GitHub organization at https://github.com/steemdunk The reason for this change is to namespace the repositories to better keep track of everything that belongs to Steemdunk. All projects are still MIT licensed and can be freely used/contributed to.
