I only joined this month, and I feel that we're still on the leading edge of Steemit. When you think about the people on now versus the amount of people that will probably be on in a couple of years... it seems like this is only the beginning! I'm loving it :)

Upvoted and Followed.  Great post been on here for just over 2 months and loving it.  Keep up the great work and enjoyed your Blog.

I'm excited by the prospect of Steemit becoming a "Facebook" that actually has the capacity to fund itself by being tied to cryptocurrency creation rather than annoying people with ads or just having a gigantic market cap from an IPO that has no relationship to reality (looking at you here Facebook.)

But I would really like to see a way to link steem to the real world -- the minute we see the capacity to buy stuff here on Steemit with steem, I think that will change the world. Of course, then government gets involved because of taxes and the whole thing gets messy....

Easy to get lost in regrets -- why did I let the difficulty of buying bitcoin stop me in 2012 when it was cheap?  Why didn't I buy apple stock instead of a motorcycle with summer money when I was 18?  Etc Etc Etc....

But -- I actually just love the community that is springing up here.  Good folk and good conversations!

You're right! We're here now. And it's not too late because the fun is just getting started, especially since after HF-19. It's like Steemit was preparing for this time since inception.

Its never too late, it will never be. I joined steemit last July 2016 but still I felt that I'm a new member. Yes, I could have submitted a lot of contents but my account is really at its infancy :). Steemit is also at its infancy and still has a long way to go and I believe that together we can grow with it gradually.

Smarter and luckier guys were here before (as they usually are :)) but we're still on time for this party. What I like about present time is that the naive period is over - you don't get followers just like that, you have to put some work and quality into it. No vacancy for spammers. But still all you need to invest is some effort and the results will surely follow.

Anyone who joins before 2018 will be known as an early adopter.

Thanks for the having me here on @steemit. I'm one of 'those' people who joined this month. I'm two weeks in and loving it here. Thank you very much for the welcome - I say it's never to late to join!

I remember not too long ago, I would always run across the same names on comments etc, now its totally different coz there are so many new people joining up Its AWESOME!!

@steemed-open I used to share the same feeling, but its never too late. Steem is the future of crypto currency that is not gonna die any time soon.

You got me with your post. I thought exactly the same. Why didn't I know earlier about steemit. Whatever now I'm here and make the best of it.

The same feeling as me, I wish I have join earlier.. not only the information, connection, but also the value of steem. As you can see the value of steem have raised quite a lot since last year. I have started earlier, I think I will be able to buy steem power more easily XD.

I got a lot of that from my friends as well, but I have to admit that during the winter when the price was down, I probably would've lost them all again.

It has been a TSUNAMI of people flooding this place. I'm sure you and many others have been corralling people here, answering questions, helping with intro posts, etc. Your post is perfect in explaining that while they may feel late, it's not late. 
I plan on discussing your post here on my next vlog along with a handful of others. :)
