Hi everyone,

After my successful review of the **Scientific Ark Starter Kit** ([link to my review](https://peakd.com/hivegaming/@steemmillionaire/exode-game-introduction-to-the-scientific-ark)) and of the **Navy Lieutenant Starter Kit** ([link to my review](https://peakd.com/hivegaming/@steemmillionaire/exode-game-introduction-to-the-navy-lieutenant)), it is now the time for the **Elected Leader Starter Kit**.

Each **Starter Kit** has 14 cards: an origin card that will give you the right to evacuate the planet and will dictate the rules of your game, a ship, three officers, seven crew members, and two equipment slots.

The **Elected Leader** is very different from the other two starter kits. 

While  the **Scientific Ark** bringed together great scientists that are committed to survive the harsh space voyage and the difficulties of colonisation of the unknown, and the **Navy Lieutenant** armed themselves from top to bottom and prepared themselves to fight back the invaders, the **Elected Leader** uses his political power to bring the people together. 

He did not had access to the most brilliant people in the empire, but managed to bring together a bunch of **Versatile** bureaucrats, and secured the secrets of two powerful items.

The **Elected Leader** used his influence to secure a modern ship, the **Diplomatic Corvette "Amarasia"**. The ship needs the standard crew of seven people. It has little space for equipments and cargo, but is very generous when it comes to passengers (more than double when compared to the **Ark Ship "Orwell 1"** used by the **Ark Scientist**).

The officers accompanying the **Elected Leader** are former diplomats and public officers from the administration. As you can see, the **Administrative Offices** is the first card that comes with a negative trait. This guy has a **secret agenda**, and you should not fully rely on him:

**The Crew** - hard working guys, that made a nice career in the public administration: a propaganda specialist, a population analyst, and a welfare specialist. They will probably not be very useful during the **Evacuation**, but they can lay the bases of a successful colony:

The rest of the crew (a maintenance staff, a civilian pilot, and two security guards) are versatile guys that can give a helpful hand on any other **Origin** set:

**Equipments** - the two equipment sets secured by the **Elected Leader** are all covered in mystery: a rare **Diplomatic Gift** containing three items, and the **Federal Database**. 

Everyone was asking what happen to the federal database after the attack on Earth, but very few knew that it was secured by the **Elected Leader** even before the firsts waves. We will never know if the database was used to influence the results of the last elections, but it is a certain truth that it will give a good advantage to the colonies having access to it...

**Conclusions** - the **Evacuation** with the **Elected Leader Starter Kit** will probably be the most difficult one, but their colonies will be the interesting to manage. There is a lot of mystery around the two items secured by the **Elected Leader**, and the concepts behind the **Reward Table** which seems to be highly influenced by this two cards. But this is something that we will discover later on...
