Hi everyone,

**Exode Game** had another successful milestones scheduled for yesterday, and now we are able to open our **Starter Kits**. 

As you might know, on my account I have the **All Three Pack** and this was the first nice surprise: after you open this combo pack, you get three separate **Starter Kits** which you may open or trade separately from each other.

My decision is to open all the three packs that I've got, each day a different one... 

Each **Starter Kit** has 14 cards: an origin card that will give you the right to evacuate the planet and will dictate the rules of your game, a ship, three officers, seven crew members, and two equipment slots.

But let's start today with the **Scientific Ark**.

The **Scientific Ark** brings together a team of scientists that try to evacuate Earth with all the skills and equipment needed to establish a completely new world. They know that space is a harsh place, and that it will be very unlikely to find a planet identical to our wonderful place. Therefore, they are ready to terraform difficult terrains, and to survive an extended amount of time in space.

**Ark Ship "Orwell 1"** - with all the modern stuff taken over by military, the only suitable ship that the scientists managed to get was this old space ship converted years ago into a museum of space life. The ship has technology from the early days, but the scientist managed to bring it back to life. The ship might be unreliable and with poor weapons and defense, but it might prove versatile and an easy fix without the need of complex tools and spare parts. The ship has space for seven crew members, four extra passengers, and still enough space for one equipment set and seven cargo containers.

**Scientific Officers** - It was not an easy task to bring together the best scientific team. Still the initial team is well suitable for the unknown that the space preserves:

**Crew** - the crew of the **Scientific Ark** consists of four specialist: a space surgeon (a versatile doctor that can join the teams of any **Origin**), a zeno analyst, and two space bioscientists.

In addition, the four specialist will be accompanied by three extra crew members that will take care of the basic research activities during the journey:

**Equipment** - The scientist managed to bring with them two different sets of equipments: a collection of six rare plants well adapted to the harsh conditions of space, and three research suits that can protect the crew. Unfortunate, the physical space on the **Ark Ship "Orwell 1"** is limited to one equipment set, therefore it will be an interesting decision on what to take onboard:
