The card is "burned" and replaced with DEC.  Why would replacing an already inflation ridden asset "card" with an increased amount of a newly created "token" add value to the platform? Supply of cards is already much higher than demand, what happens when people realize that there is no scarcity of both the cards and the new DEC? They have printed way too many copies of each card considering the size of the player base.  Look at tournament participation rates, keeping existing players and getting new ones should have been there priority.

I first got confused and searched for the DEC in my steemit wallet and only then figured out it is in this separate steem engine account. I logged in there, all DEC were there but transfering them back into my player account didn't work.
Transfering to steem engine I tested out again, it did work. I did not have any problems with steemconnect before. Actually I bought several cards the last days and it always worked then fine.
I always get an Missing Active Authority message.
So: **What do I have to do to solve this problem?**
(I want to buy DEC with my steem and then use it for the new cards and potions.)
I also do not have the slightest inclination to download chrome for this another extra application Steem Keychain Browser extension.

I also have another question concerning the potions.
Alchemy and Legendary **500 charges** - does this mean 500x the improved reward for any quest or bi-weekly reward? (If yes, then you are mad. **Especially** ***if*** you can actually combine them and get a guaranteed golden legendary every time on a normal quest on a bronze account (as you have the 100% option).) They shouldn't be able to use at the same time.

@hhh-fan the "missing active authority" message means you are not using the correct active key for your account.  Transferring Steem Engine tokens requires you to enter the active key or the master password into SteemConnect. Alternatively, you could always use the [Steem Keychain browser extension](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/steem-keychain/lkcjlnjfpbikmcmbachjpdbijejflpcm) which will manage your keys for you.

Regarding the potions, the 500 charges means you have an increased chance of getting a gold or legendary card for the next 500 cards you get. The amount of the increased chance depends on which potion you buy. Basic gives +25% chance, Enhanced gives +50% chance, and Brilliant gives +100% chance. Please note that +100% chance does not mean you will get one every time, it means that you will have double the normal chances of getting a gold or legendary card.

Yes, I did read this elsewhere. But I did post the correct password. I also checked and tried it out elsewhere several times.
Thus remains my problem what I have to/should do.
As said, I won't install and use chrome to install the Steem Keychain browser extension - unless someone tells me it works on brave and/or dissenter browser too.

As far as I understood, the amount of DEC one receives per won fight depends on one's position in the leaderboard. Wouldn't it be more interesting if it depended on the ranking of the opponent? Then even a player from a lower league could earn much DEC in case he managed to beat a very high ranked player ...

I'm all for a system that rewarded someone more for winning as an underdog however what if it were based on the LEVEL of cards or the VALUE of cards. (Golds valued as regular)

The rank isn't always a great indicator of skill in victory since a top level player may have just rented a brand new set of max cards. 

But if someone with a 75% towards max deck team beats a person with a fully 100% max level team there could be a little bit of a bonus.

Maybe (but you know it better, I guess) the Splinterlands team targets to reward people who have invested much money and thus don't want to 'punish' players with many max level and/or very expensive cards ...

So my idea is kind of a compromise. High ranked players with max decks still would have their advantage, but lower ranked players could earn more DEC from time to time if they managed to beat a player on top of the list.

***Does the ECR fom the dark Energy crystals reset back to 100% When a new season starts!? I find it very difficult to even stay around 50% . it doesn't seem to recharge much after not playing all night and seems to be impossible to ever back above 50% even, unless I just don't play for like 3 or 4 days!*** Thanks!⚑⚑⚑⚑⚑
