If you don't have much Steem then any extra may be welcome. You can buy it with Bitcoin or you can mine it, but the latter can be hit and miss. I'm getting a little extra from [Eobot](https://www.eobot.com/user/513333). It's a cloud mining service that includes a 'faucet' where you can get from free cryptocurrency each day by just filling in a CAPTCHA. You just select which coin you want. You get a free Dogecoin as well each day you visit. With the current low price of Steem you get a bit more from the Faucet. It's not much, but it may be worth more in the long term.

You can set it up to transfer to your account once you reach at least 1 Steem. I'm also using the mining. Current break even time on that is 20 months on the five year contract. You get some extra if you manage to recruit anyone who buys some mining capacity.

I know it's not a lot, but a little passive income will add up over a few years. I get a few cents from the various schemes in my signature. A lot of that gets ploughed into Steem as I believe it has a good future. If not then I haven't lost much.

I see Steem dropped another 10% today. Is this just due to people powering down? Mine is mostly powered up, so I'll ride this out. I don't plan to take any out until it's worth a lot more.
