I had a pretty good season on @splinterlands. I am not sure what my best rank was before, but it may have been Diamond III. This time I crept up to Diamond I. I had completed my daily challenge yesterday and thought I would shoot for Champion III (3700 points) as it would gain me an extra 20 chests. As you can see below I got within one point of it and then suffered a series of defeats that knocked me back. I was not feeling like carrying on at that point and so accepted what I had.  Diamond I is not so bad. I have level 4 summoners. At that level I was meeting some with level 8 and above. There are some battles you know you cannot win. I know some people get to Diamond with level 1 cards, but their strategy must be much better than mine.  I did buy a few nice cards with my powered down Steem, but may need to upgrade some others to improve my chances.  I won more of cards I already have. I keep getting Warrior if Peace and Baby Unicorn, but rarely play Life. The orb got me some more cards that were not exciting. I will see if I can get a little further this season. I have been there many times where you just need one more victory to push you over the top but you can't seem to get it. It is very frustrating. I don't blame you for just taking what you could get. Maybe next season you can push Champion!

Oh man that's a little frustrating, one point off! Next season I guess! Getting to C1 with L4 would be great going, but I know what you mean about losing several battles in a row, you just lose the will. It's very much a matter of 30 mins a day and no more for me! I just get bored after that.
