There's a company called Wavecrest that supplied cards for Bitwala, Crypopay and others. Visa withdrew their right to do this at very short notice. [See this](https://www.bitwala.com/bitwala-cards-disabled/). I've not heard exactly why this happened yet.

So I just spoke to Cryptopay and they have told me that it's still possible to do bank transfers even though the virtual cards are down.

"- Can I still transfer crypto into my account and send it as a bank transfer?

- Yes, sure. If your account is verified and your bank account is located in the SEPA zone"
