On June 16, 2020 the HBD/HIVE exchange rate had a value of 0.254
On April 14, 2021 the HBD/HIVE exchange rate had a value of 0.271
In September 2020 I had converted 10 HBD to 60 HIVE
In April 2014 I had converted 10 HBD to 37 HIVE.
The price of HIVE in recent months has been rising, while the value of the HIVE DOLLAR (HBD) remains pegged to the value of the dollar. So this exchange rate is becoming less and less convenient and I expect it to reach a 1:1 ratio sooner or later. In the meantime I try to accumulate HIVEs by converting HBDs earned from blogging, although it becomes less and less convenient.
Today I will try to issue a conversion order of 10 HBDs with an exchange ratio set to 0.330. If this order triggers with 10 HBDs I will purchase 30 HIVEs. At the time of the order the exchange rate is at a value of 0.349. So I have placed the order at a lower HBD/HIVE ratio value than the current one. If I were to purchase HIVE at market via an HBD/HIVE conversion it would allow me to convert 10 HBD to 28.5 HIVE. Placing the order with a lower ratio, as I did, will allow me to get a few more HIVE.
 
*Conclusions*
In the past I have tried this operation a few times. Today it seems that it would have been convenient to do this operation more frequently. I think this ratio is destined to move towards parity within 1 year. We will see what happens.

Il 16 Giugno 2020 il cambio HBD/HIVE aveva un valore di 0,254
Il 14 Aprile 2021 il cambio HBD/HIVE aveva un valore di 0,271
A Settembre 2020 avevo convertito 10 HBD in 60 HIVE
In Aprile 2014 avevo convertito 10 HBD in 37 HIVE.
Il prezzo di HIVE in questi ultimi mesi si sta alzando, mentre il valore dell’HIVE DOLLAR (HBD) rimane ancorato al valore del dollaro. Quindi questo cambio diventa sempre meno conveniente e mi aspetto che prima o poi raggiunga un rapporto di 1:1. Nel frattempo provo ad accumulare degli HIVE convertendo gli HBD guadagnati con il blogging, anche se diventa sempre meno conveniente.
Oggi proverò ad emettere un ordine di conversione di 10 HBD con un rapporto di cambio impostato a 0.330. Se questo ordine si attiverà con 10 HBD acquisterò 30 HIVE. Al momento dell’ordine il cambio è ad un valore di 0,349. Quindi ho posizionato l’ordine ad un valore di rapporto HBD/HIVE più basso dell’attuale. Se acquistassi HIVE a mercato tramite una conversione HBD/HIVE mi permetterebbe di convertire 10 HBD in 28,5 HIVE. Posizionando l’ordine con un rapporto più basso, come ho appunto fatto, invece mi permetterà di ricavare qualche HIVE in più.
 
*Conclusioni*
In passato ho provato questa operazione poche volte. Ad oggi sembra che più sarebbe stato conveniente fare questa operazione con maggior frequenza. Io penso che questo rapporto sia destinato ad andare verso la parità nell’arco di 1 anno. Staremo a vedere cosa succederà.
