There were prophecies, doubts, rancours, agitation, fears, uncertainty, and whatnot. However, the swearing-in of the newly elected Nigerian presidents has come and gone. During his campaign, the new president made the removal of petrol subsidies a focal point. Barely 48 hours after his swearing-in, the policy has been implemented.

One thing remains though, how will Nigerians survive this new policy that will most likely raise the prices of goods and services by over 200%? As for me and mine, we are filled with hope.
