The human brain is the most complex organ and probably the most sophisticated creation in the universe.
I consider necessary a minimum of knowledge about the brain if you want to learn something new, to remember as many things as possible, to remember even 2-3 years, even more.
### So I'm going to present you 10 things you need to know about the brain so far:

**1.** Learn best when you are **happy** and / or **relaxed**
**2.** To create **neural pathways** (between neurons), your brain **needs water**. Drinking water when you learn, you will feel more refreshed, and your brain will be able to retain more things.

**3.** As we all know, **the brain and the whole body is greatly influenced by what we eat.** So there must be a balance between protein, fat, carbohydrates, to be able to work in an efficient way.

**4.** It has been scientifically demonstrated that in order to be able to learn effectively you have to learn in blocks of 1h - 1h 30min after which to take a short break.
Pauses in which you run, move, so you increase the level of oxygen that enters the body and this work helps the neurons + you think more clearly and you feel much better!
**5.** When you are **hungry / sleepy / hot / cold** you can not concentrate so well. Pay attention to these issues.
**6.** Coffee. It's super good!
But it is a problem when you try to learn. When you drink coffee, you will have a boost of energy for 5-6 hours, after which you will feel asleep, slowly, asleep.
So if you do not drink coffee, the energy level will be kept, I recommend green tea, for its health benefits and for caffeine in small quantities that will not affect you during the learning process.
**7.** **The more you use your brain** the more it **will become more effective than it is now.**
**8.** **Be ambitious.** If you think you can do something, you will.
**9.** **Use Targets.** You will realize it day by day, so you will surely know that you do not waste your time.

**10.** **Without sugar.** Sugar has the same effect on the brain as coffee (about energy level), you get energy for a few hours, and then you feel asleep.
**Did you know these things about the brain?
What are other things you know, but have not been mentioned in this article?
