<html> <h2>Transmitting a Computer Program over live TV in 1981</h2> <p>https://youtu.be/jmdMAyGOoaI</p> <p><br></p> <p>Ever wondered just how far technology has come in the last 36 years?</p> <p>For the ones familar with my Blog, as you will know, I am always scanning the archives of old TV footage to share with you demonstrations as to how far technology has come in the last +30 years.</p> <p>This is a great clip taken from the Tomorrow's World episode on 3rd December 1981 and shows a demonstration of transmitting a Computer Program over live TV.</p> <p>Though it didn't work at first it was repeated again the following week with successful results.</p> <p>A great trip down memory lane for anyone brought up in the 70's & 80's.</p> <p>It's video clips like this that help educate people just how much technology has advanced in a relatively short period of time.</p> <p>The clip is worth watching just to listen to the modem dialling up.</p> <p>Great memories..!!</p> <p><br></p> <p>Thanks again for reading/watching.</p> <p>Stephen</p> </html>
