 Hello guys, welcome to another art post from me. I resumed school recently so I've been having less time to do my thing (Drawing) especially with friends coming around a lot and spending time at my place. I barely touched this drawing of my grandmother. I decided to do something today... Grandma was always a gentle and lovely. The L ve she had for her grandchildren was unbelievable. She had a bad leg due to an injury and she would still try to travel down to every state her grandchildren are in just to greet them. I remember her walking with her injured leg into my toom and resting her heaf on my back like a snuggling adorable puppy anf she'd fondly call me "Toluuuuu".. Pronounced as "Taluuuuuu". I can remember her teaching I and my cousins a poem in yoruba. ** Agogo baba kan lai O ti tobi pupo ju O mi sise fun ogorun odun O sise ti ti lai lai lai O duro wem Ko tu le sise naa mo Ti baba naa fi ku ** The yoruba version of the poem of an old man's clock, a big clock that worked for 100years and later stopped then the old man died. She also taught us a funny song about reading and studying well and in the song... The reward for studying well and having good results was eating pounded yam with ease. The clock symbolizes the heart of the man. I know most of us have figured that out but I and my cousins d it didn't when grandma was teaching us. We were only wondering what a clock had to do with a mans death. Lol.  ___  ___  ___  ___  ___ This drawing is still in progress. I'll be sharing a bit more on my grandmother on the next post when I've drawn to another extent again. It's hard work balancing schooling with this.  Stay cool and happy steeming guys.
