Cryptokitties Likes/Paws/Purr - Does it matter?

Some CK players are focusing on the new (kinda new) feature of liking cats.  I currently have a cat with 511 likes.  Not sure how.  I'm thinking defective bot liking the wrong cat ha ha.  Likes can help two ways - 1) people will look at your cat.  Getting views is key to selling  and 2) your can will stand out on search screens i.e. wtf 511 likes!  If you have an otherwise unremarkable cat likes might help it sell.  Poopie.cat is running a daily cat giveaway.  You enter by liking his cats.  This drives views to his profile and cats that he is selling.  Plus it runs up likes on his cats helping them stand out on searches.  Visit http://poopie.cat/ his giveaway is legit.

My experience is that price your cats right and they will sell.  Marketing them doesn't seem to help alot.  Likes can't hurt but dressing up a cat with the hopes of getting a higher price is iffy.  Of course, Poopie.cat thinks his strategy is getting him consistently higher sales prices.
