So this is a film about living the same day over and over again, living in an eternal loop. It raises many questions for the soul. If you could do anything what would you do? If you could not die what would you do? At its heart this film is all about how to get the love of a good woman, it is romantic philosophical comedy at its best.

## ► What you loved about it

 Well this film is funny and heart-warming at its core but like the best of films it has a thoughtful and intellectual message behind it all. I mean if you had the same day over and over again what would you do? As he goes through the different stages of his mental state this is the darkest of comedies, how many ways are their to commit suicide? Alongside every decision he makes you are there with him, wondering what you would do what he does.

## ► What part of it did you find most funny.

 All of this film is fabulous. However we loved the idea of using it for self growth, especially when he learns the piano. However the part where he meets Ned Ryerson always made us laugh especially when he just punches him!

## ► Any scene that still pops into your mind.

Stealing the Groundhog is a scene that made us laugh, I mean it is a ridiculous idea in the first place and the way that the scene is filmed is brilliant.

## ► Performance of the actors/actress that left an impression.

Once you have seen the film you would see everything that he does essentially to get Andie MacDowells character to love him. We would definitely do that and even more for her! She is a brilliant sidekick to Bill Murry's weatherman and her innocence and presence shine through at all times. Not an easy thing to do when acting next to a master!



## ► Why do you think it's significant and great.

This is the same day over and over again. This is a film we have watched over and over again. Not only is this film very funny and the scrip and acting are as sharp as a knife, it is also a film that makes you question your own mortality and reasons for being. It is a film that at its centre is deeply philosophical about the meaning of life and presents it all in  a package that is like a sweetshop of romantic laughs.
