This is the story of how my band...I am trying to promote them at the moment....but its a bit pricey....

How Storm got the band together....

I bet you think it is a made up name, its not. Her parents grew up in a commune in the 60's....apparently her mum gave birth to her in a yurt during a rather angry thunderstorm, hence the name. I mean it is a cool name, for a gladiator, but she likes it and she uses it. She is the band leader, growing up going from place to place, different names, different people but always a guitar and a sing along. She met buster in the same busking place she used to play for a while. 
They used to swap shifts as it were. After a few weeks of doing this they started to play together and noticed that the money came in quicker and that's when they started "the Band".

They met Curtis at a local bar, the first time they went to his open mic night they hit it off.  I mean they were the only ones there, so they had to get on. They hadn't realised until later that he had been in a few bands with some big hits in the 70's, he didn't like to talk about it. His cool, calm and collected attitude was the perfect balance to Storm and her "artistic" temperament.

Curtis is the one who bought Winston in, they were old family friends. Winston would always be hitting something, no matter where he was. He would play on the table, play on his knees, I mean he would even use a matchbox as a shaker. No matter what Winston played the rhythm sounded good. He could make it swing and his natural friendship with Curtis meant they were a rhythm section from heaven....

MC Pressure was the final piece of the puzzle. I mean they were good but he made them more relevant to a younger generation. he would spit his rhymes out like a cat on heat. No one knows where he came from really just turned up one day and started adding some words then kind of stuck around. I mean he was hard to pin down and usually no-one knew where he was but her would always turn up, just in time!

So this is how Storm got her band together. Her dedication and commitment got them organised and they started doing some bigger gigs, at the moment they are looking for management and are hoping for something big to happen soon. I mean they are on the cusp of something great, to stardom but like so many others will they break into the big time? Who knows .....
