<div class="text-justify">Even through his closed eyelids he could see glaringly bright light. He tried to open his eyes, but his eyelids were swollen and his eyelashes stuck together. Plus the prospect of looking straight into the glaring brightness - he gave up right away. 

------

Slowly, his senses returned. 

He gently moved his head. He felt a distinctly sore neck, tired back muscles. He began to check the ability of his limbs one by one. Very carefully. Despite his closed eyes, he felt that he was not alone.

----

He moved his fingers. They were very stiff and sticky. He relaxed his wrists. Helping himself with his hands - he sat down. Only now did he realise that he was sitting on the ground. He touched the ground - rough, dry and cold like concrete. He moved his hand over his knees, his calves down to his feet - everything seemed to be in order, if not for the fact that almost every part of his body was unbearably painful. He was now ready to open his eyes - the brightness consumed him completely.

Rapaciously he closed them, tried again, and - squinting hard - tried to look around. The blinding light surrounded him on all sides. 

----

He knelt on the ground, hid his head in his arms trying to protect his eyes from the merciless radiation. When he put his arms around himself - he felt that his torso was naked. He moved his hand down touching his hip - he realised he wasn't even wearing underwear. He tried to cover himself with his hands, but gave up after a moment - he chose to cover his eyes, which were being hurt by the terrible brightness.

He felt dizzy.  He decided to walk in one random direction, as straight as possible. His head was spinning more and more. He stumbled over his own feet. He marched ahead, however. From time to time he uncovered his eyes - the intensity of the light did not change, and neither colours nor shapes could be seen.

-'This must be a dream'. - he said out loud to check that his vocal cords were still working. His voice was hoarse and his mouth was dry. He swallowed his saliva. He felt a metallic, unpleasant taste.

His determination began to diminish as he walked for what seemed to him like a good hour - the landscape had not changed one bit. He was also slowly losing his strength. He decided to rest for a while. 
He sat down on the ground. His hands began to explore the space around him.

But something had changed - the ground was no longer cold and rough, but warm and smooth. He lay down, hugging his aching face to the ground. He turned onto his stomach, facing the ground, put his arms around his head so that he could open his eyes at least for a moment. Slowly, very carefully, he parted his eyelids.

The ground was as transparent as crystal, with a mountainous landscape spread out beneath its surface. He could see everything from a bird's eye view, from a great distance.

The warmth of his breath blurred this extraordinary view. For a split second, he forgot the pain and horror. The green covering the valleys and the white covering the peaks momentarily transported him to a better place. Without thinking much, he started pounding his fists on the glass floor. He hit it with all his strength, until he was out of breath. Standing up, he began to jump, hoping that the glass would break and relieve him of his torment.

Futile. He lay down again, this time on his back. He decided to open his eyes and keep them open, even if he were to lose his sight. Nothing mattered to him anymore. He uncertainly opened his eyes and immediately realised that the unbearable brightness had been replaced by an impenetrable darkness. He tried to look at his hands, to find his body in the darkness - but he could see nothing. Suddenly, he saw a light in the distance. Not a bright spot, but a column of light, as if coming from a street lamp.

He ran in that direction as fast as he could. Up close, he saw that the light was falling on the ground in an even circle. 'Like a stage light' – he though. 
He stepped into its glow. He saw his mangled, bloodied body. He eyed his arms, legs, touched his stomach and back. 

Only after a moment did he notice that a **red thick thread** lay on the ground. He picked up the end of it, grasped it firmly and pulled. He felt resistance.</div>

-'Is this my way home?"

It has been my first time to write a fiction story, so I welcome all criticism with my head wide open!

On the picture you can see combined(and mirrored) pictures of one drawing - right side and dull one. In some places the ink has transferred to the other side of the paper - creating another drawing. I added a bit of an outline using a thin pen. 

What do you guys think?
