Steem power use is percentage based.  Everytime I upvote, my power moves down from 100% to 98, 96 etc., if I continuously keep voting the less and less my vote matters.  Styx, please note that you will start receiving a modest amount of Steem Power, in a few days.  The donations we give payout after 7 days, when your content gets written permanently to the blockchain.  As your channel gets more popular here, you will start bringing in $10-$15 a post(or more if you attract the interest of a whale, that can literally donate $100's a day), and you will not need to inject any Steem yourself.  We can also donate Steem directly to you via the transfer option in the wallet, but my account is quite modest, and I am trying to earn some myself.

I believe bandwidth is based on your amount of Steem Power. So yes, you *can* put $100 into fixing the issue! Buy some Steem and just power it up or exchange on the internal market for SP. 

Since I think you're kind of new to crypto, the easy way to do this is to get something like a Binance or Coinbase account, purchase some mainline crypto (Bitcoin, BitcoinCash, Ethereum, or Litecoin) and use that to purchase Steem through blocktrades.us (they're very on board with the Steem platform and have a Steem account via @blocktrades).

If you dont increase your steem power or get some upvotes on your videos they wont be staying up permanently either. I tried to upvote your videos but there are so many of them.

You came on to steem and used it in a really weird way. Steem power is very important here. You either need to earn some by posting or buy steem. Steem power is a really big deal as well, it gives you actual power on the platform to promote not only your own content but other peoples stuff as well. If you were to accumulate a decent chunk of steem power here, which I believe you could do very easily without spending even one dollar, you could become impossible to censor even if CNN decided to make an account here and they directly down voted your stuff.

edit : Someone like you Styx, you dont have to spend money to earn steem at all. All you need to do is spend a couple months just posting your regular content. At that point you will be able to backup all of your stuff for "free".

Make sure that you post in 50 / 50 mode. If you send the SBD you earn to an exchange and dtrade it for steem directly you will power up much faster.

Love your content and, yes, please delve into crypto currency. For the same reason you're here on Steemit and Dtube would be the same reason to phase out Paypal, and general support of USD dominance. Crypto allows you to be your own bank and use the money of your choice (even styx coin!)! The people should be issuing the money and pay Governments only when Govs are actually serving the peoples. Crypto gives us opportunity to restore and create balance; to distribute the power out to all the peoples. 
One simple cool feature is it allows your global audience to instantly donate directly to you!; lol even withOUT Steemit, Patreon, banks, credit cards, cash, Govs, organizations, businesses, or any of the likes; and no One (and/or Group(s)) can say No or prevent it!
