The Walk for Justice from Brampton to Ottawa Parliament for Victims of Enforced Disappearance by The Sri Lankan State
todaysnorthumberland.ca reports in an article "The Walk for Justice for Victims of Enforced Disappearance Goes Through Alderville First Nation" about the Canadian Tamils who have been walking from Brampton to Ottawa Parliament - a distance of 421km- since 30 August, the International Day of the Disappeared to handover a petition the Canadian Primeminister on 14 September in Ottawa parliament in support of more than 60,000 disappeared Tamils since 1981 in Sri Lanka.   

On Thursday, September 3, 2020 the reporter of  Northumberland and members of First Nation members met up with the group as they were heading north on County Road 45 at Alderville First Nation:
