Hello all animation lovers! Last week I started with an idea I had of recommendations for pilots and animated shorts, all available on YouTube, with the intention of making these interesting projects known. Initially, I was making my recommendations through my statuses on the **Whatsapp** app and I was doing it purely for leisure.

But, a couple of friends encouraged me to continue making recommendations and after thinking about it, I came to the conclusion that the best place to talk about it was here on my blog, so I could express myself at my leisure and share the direct link to said recommendations. animations. Without further ado, today I will talk to you about: **DEAD SHIFT** and **DESERT-MAYHEM: OVERDRIVE**.

### <center> 👻DEAD SHIFT 👻</center>

In this pilot, we will see **Hunter** and **Kid** are a pair of exterminators, who have a kind of agency in charge of getting rid of any monster or paranormal entity at a low cost. After being called by an old woman, they decide to take on the job of getting rid of a strange creature that seems to be living in their basement and scaring their cats.
<br>
<br>
The animation looks quite simple, with quite bizarre and even humorous moments that remind you of **Adventure Time**, which contrast quite well with the dark and bloody touches of the plot. I really liked the personalities of the characters, as did the soundtrack. It's quite short, only five minutes, but it's quite entertaining. Without a doubt I would very much like to see more adventures of these exterminators.

### <center> 🐽 DESERT - MAYHEM: OVERDRIVE 🐽</center>

After **Mondo, Rally and Blister**, the leaders of three powerful criminal gangs, allied themselves to loot several towns, a group made up of three brothers **Brick, Bubbles and Bentley**, goes in search of these thugs with the intention of recovering what belongs to them. Only they will end up in a chase where their lives are in danger.
<br>
<br>
During this almost seven-minute long animated short, with a mix of 2D and 3D animation, which addresses the **Vaporware** style, we will be immersed in a quite psychedelic animation and even, the short warns about the flashes of lights and excesses of bright colors. This not only makes the short quite attractive and entertaining, but its characters themselves have a charming definition that makes you quickly empathize with them and their designs. When I saw it for the first time, it gave me a headache ha ha because my vision was quite tired, but I watched the entire short because I was absorbed by the striking animation. I really liked the characters, especially one of Rally's subordinates, who became my favorite character, I fell in love with her design and I even plan to make her a fanart in the future.

¡Hola a todos los amantes de la animación! La semana pasada comencé con una idea que tuve de recomendaciones de pilotos y cortos animados, todos disponibles en Youtube, con la intención de dar a conocer estos proyectos interesantes. Inicialmente, mis recomendaciones las estaba realizando a través de mis estados de la app **Whatsapp** y lo hacía por mero ocio.

Pero, un par de amigos me animaron a seguir haciendo recomendaciones y luego de pensarlo, llegué a la conclusión de que el mejor lugar para hablar de ello, era aquí en mi blog, para poder expresarme a mis anchas y compartirles el link directo de dichas animaciones. Sin más preámbulos, hoy les hablaré de: **DEAD SHIFT** y **DESERT-MAYHEM: OVERDRIVE**.

### <center> 👻DEAD SHIFT 👻</center>

En éste piloto, veremos a **Hunter** y **Kid** son un par de exterminadores, que tienen una especie de agencia encargada de deshacerse de cualquier monstruo o ente paranormal a un bajo costo. Luego de ser llamados por una anciana, deciden tomar el trabajo de deshacerse de una extraña criatura que parece estar habitando en su sótano y asusta a sus gatos.

La animación luce bastante sencilla, con momentos bastante bizarros y hasta humorísticos que te recuerdan a **Adventure Time**, que contrastan bastante bien con los toques oscuros y sangrientos de la trama. La personalidad de los personajes me gustó bastante, al igual que el soundtrack. Es bastante corta, de sólo cinco minutos, pero es bastante entretenida. Sin duda me gustaría muchísimo poder ver más aventuras de estos exterminadores.

Luego de que **Mondo, Rally y Blister**, los líderes de tres poderosas bandas criminales, se aliaran para saquear varios pueblos, un grupo conformado por tres hermanos **Brick, Bubbles y Bentley**, va en busca de estos maleantes con las intenciones de recuperar lo que les pertenece. Sólo que acabarán metidos en una persecución en donde su vida, corre peligro.
<br>
<br>
Durante éste corto animado de casi siete minutos de duración, con una mezcla de animación 2D y 3D, que aborda el estilo **Vaporware**, estaremos inmerso en una animación bastante psicodélica e inclusive, el corto advierte acerca de los flashes de luces y excesos de colores llamativos. Esto no sólo hace que el corto sea bastante atrayente y entretenido, sino que sus propios personajes tienen una definición encantadora que haces que empatices rápidamente con ellos y sus diseños. Cuando la vi por primera vez, me dio dolor de cabeza ja ja porque tenía la visión bastante cansada, pero vi el corto completo porque quedé absorta por lo llamativo de la animación. Me gustaran muchísimo los personajes, sobre todo de una de las subordinadas de Rally, que se convirtió en mi personaje favorito, me enamoré de su diseño y hasta tengo pensado hacerle un fanart en el futuro.
