¡Hola a todos los buscadores de arte callejero! Con algo de alegría y tristeza, les vengo a mostrar las fotografías de un mural nuevo que hicieron en las inmediaciones del lugar en el cual resido. Ubicado en la zona Este de la ciudad de *Barquisimeto* (**Venezuela**), al lado de una especie de plaza. En todo el espacio también colocaron ciertas estructuras alusivas al ajedrez, así que me imagino que debe ser un trabajo realizado por la alcaldía del lugar. Ya que a la fecha que tomé estas fotografías y tras pasar en otras ocasiones, sigue sin tener una firma como tal.

> Hello to all street art seekers! With some joy and sadness, I come to show you the photographs of a new mural that they made in the vicinity of the place where I live. Located in the eastern part of the city of *Barquisimeto* (**Venezuela**), next to a kind of square. Throughout the space they also placed certain structures alluding to chess, so I imagine that it must be a job carried out by the local mayor's office. Since to the date I took these photographs and after passing on other occasions, it still does not have a signature as such.

En la extensa pared, con sus colores brillantes, el mural se muestra atractivo ante los transeúntes que por allí pasan y para aquellos que realizan alguna actividad física o simplemente, se sientan en algunos de los bancos del parque a charlar o respirar algo de aire puro. Hace poco en la universidad, ingresé en una especie de club lùdico de estrategia y aunque no hemos empezado, el mural me hizo pensar en ello. Sería perfecto que el espacio fuera condicionado para que funcionase realmente como un centro de reunión para personas que quieran pasar una tarde amena jugando ajedrez, damas chinas o dominó, recuperando un poco, esas actividades que ya no se realizan con la misma frecuencia por no estar relacionadas con el uso de la tecnología. Sé que es mucho esperar y seguramente, no pasará de simple decoración del espacio, pero no se pierde nada al soñar.

Recently in college, I joined a kind of playful strategy club and although we haven't started, the mural made me think about it. It would be perfect if the space were conditioned so that it would really work as a meeting place for people who want to spend a pleasant afternoon playing chess, Chinese checkers or dominoes, recovering a little, those activities that are no longer carried out with the same frequency due to not being related to the use of technology. I know that it is a lot to wait and surely, it will not go beyond simple decoration of the space, but nothing is lost when dreaming.

Ahora, al principio del post les mencioné que les venía a presentar el mural con algo de tristeza... y ese sentimiento de pesar ¿A qué se debe? Pues al hecho de que ese mural, lo realizaron sobre otro del cual casualmente, yo les había hablado en post anteriores. Ese, si se trataba de un arte callejero realizado por un artista urbano y recuerdo que me emocioné al verlo porque tenía tiempo pasando por ese sitio y de pronto, había aparecido aquel mural. Ahora, solo quedan las fotos de su recuerdo:
