I read a while ago that Target was able to know about a woman’s pregnancy before the woman. I know this sounds scary to some but I think this is just amazing! The way I see it, Target was able to see the future. Target was able to figure out something so specific about the woman because they analyzed data about her. Data can help us see the future and that means we can prepare for the future better than ever. 



The more data we have, the better we can see the future. The goal today is to get as much data as possible so our ability to prepare for the future improves. We now have so much data that it is a universe in itself. The universe and current state of data have the same problem and that’s they are unmapped. If we can map this universe of data, it will help us save a lot of time in making use of it. A company called DataStreamX started the creation of Quadrant Protocol, a way to map the data world. Quadrant Protocol can actually effect a lot more than just DataStreamX so now Quadrant Protocol has been turned into its own company. 

# What does Quadrant Protocol do?

Quadrant Protocol works in a very simple way even though it will have a profound effect on data. Quadrant uses the blockchain to let nurseries stamp their data. Nurseries simply refers to organizations or people that are creating data. Because data will be stamped, it will always be easy to track down the data created by any specific organization or person. This is the way to map the universe of data. Whenever we use a data product, it will be possible to trace down the source of the data.

Quadrant Protocol is also trying to make the data universe efficient. Once nurseries provide data, the data goes through a designated cycle. This provides a proper roadmap for how data should be dealt with. Data will be bought by Pioneers, and these people would create data products from the raw data. Quadrant Protocol aims to stretch the usage of data so the products made by pioneers can be combined by brilliant individuals to create mega-data products. No matter whether data consumers buy minor data products from Pioneers or mega-data products from Elons, the data source will be clear because the data powering the products had been stamped.
