Hive is a blessing. And I say this with so much conviction and utmost sincerity. It was towards the end of last year that I took up engaging and making posts and doing better on this platform. A relaxing escape from everything that goes on around me. I work a remote job for a tech firm, and so, as you would expect, I am constantly facing a laptop screen all day long. The only other little time that I have, I spend it sleeping or exercising. I don't even use my phone so much cause I try to do so while at work so I can balance out online and offline life. However, sometimes, particularly when I'm done from work and I have little time on my hands to just do something(which may not br exercising or sleeping), the other nect thing is to grab my phone and go online to social media and just scroll through. But I find that boring and crave an escape from all that mechanical lifestyle. And that's where Hive comes in. I don't write a lot, yes. Best believe that I always do so when I'm in need of a different scenery. Hive has helped me to come on here and put my writing skills to use and be productive. Here, I express myself in the form that I prefer without much restriction, and it's been helpful to help my mind just focus on one thing and think straight. This might mean nothing to you and may just be inconceivable for to, and I'd get that. There's the financial aspect that gladdens me too and has been a factor that helped me sort certain bills. I don't take it for granted, and i am appreciative for Hive cause of it, too. But, mostly, the escape, the calm and absolute ease that I get from Hive is one of the reasons that I don't take it for granted.
