Aloha Surflimpo fam! What's up?
As agreed, we are bringing here a summary of our weekly Surflimpo Community meetings. If you haven't read our last summarys, [**check it out here on our blog**](https://peakd.com/@surflimpo/posts).
Our meetings are being held weekly, and are more of a "community meeting". We are bringing news, partner projects to present themselves and leaving space for questions and suggestions.
As not everyone can participate, we will publish a "Surflimpo Community Meeting Summary" here and on our [**Discord**](https://discord.gg/eMRgM5CW), so you can stay on top of what's happening.
The Surflimpo Community Meeting takes place every Wednesday from 2 to 3 pm (Brazilian Standard Time, UTC-03:00) via [**Google Meet (access the meeting link here)**](meet.google.com/ctw-eiam-pqf) and is held in PT-BR. Everyone is invited!

### **Surflimpo Community Meeting Summary (11/09/2022)**
Last week was a holiday in Brazil, so we didn't have a meeting. But as we promised, we're back to regular programming this week. We had a meeting that went by pretty quickly, with new people attending, so we took advantage of the meeting to update people on the latest updates and ask questions.

###### 🔶 **We recap our three tools: SurfHive, Surflimpo, and DeTrash**

After we defined [in this meeting](https://peakd.com/hive-141964/@surflimpo/enpt-br-surflimpo-community-weekly-meeting-recap-10192022-the-relationship-between-surfhive-and-surflimpo-or-resumo-da-reuniao) what the relationship between SurfHive and Surflimpo was, determining that Surflimpo would become an impact project within SurfHiive, we made it very clear the following week which were the three tools that we would be using to live and enjoy the spirit of surfing, connecting with the sea in different ways and taking care of the oceans. These tools are [SurfHive](https://peakd.com/c/hive-141964/created), [Surflimpo](https://www.cambiatus.com/surflimpo) (DROP), and [DeTrash](https://site.detrash.io/). ###### 🔶 **Extra meeting with Route Brasil**
Last Friday (11/04), an exclusive meeting was held with some people from the Route Brasil team (initiative co-creator of the Surflimpo project and the DROP currency) to present our tools.
We introduced DROP and Detrash and cleared up doubts from the people, and we left to talk about Hive in another meeting, still to be scheduled, because it's a slightly more complex subject. Unfortunately, we had few people present at this meeting, so we will try to find a better day/time so that more people can participate and for the meeting to be more productive.

###### 🔶 **Tips for newbies: start your journey through our tools by joining the Surflimpo community**
Register, claim DROPs, create offers, etc. It is our easiest and simplest tool, without many mysteries, and is very intuitive. Another tip is: no matter how "silly" your question may be, be sure to ask. This web3 world can be very complex for those who are starting, so we are 100% available to help in the best way we can! No doubt is disposable!
***2. General questions***
Some of our users have had the experience of claiming their cRECY for properly disposing of their waste.
###### 🔶 **DeTrash: delay in validation**
And we keep having doubts about some things. After submitting a form reporting your junk, we are experiencing a delay in validating it until we receive cRECY. One of the users has already received it (as a garbage generator). Still, another user, who has registered as a recycler, is already approximately a month without receiving his rewards after submitting the form.
DeTrash's RECY system is still relatively new, and the validation is probably being done manually, so there may be a delay in receiving our compensation. We're going to try and bring Phil, founder of DeTrash, to our next meeting to take a moment and answer some of our questions.
###### 🔶 **DeTrash: options for proof that we have disposed of our garbage correctly**
For those who register as a waste generator, you can submit either an invoice showing the amount and type of waste you are sending for recycling or a video showing that you are disposing of your waste correctly.
This video can be done in two ways: 1 - for those who manage to dispose of the waste in a recycler that weighs the garbage, but does not give an invoice, make the video showing the value of the weight of the garbage on the scale and speaking this value aloud so that the validator can confirm the value and; 2 – for those who can only dispose of their waste in recycling bins or for collectors who cannot weigh the waste, make a video just showing that you are disposing of it correctly (putting it in the bin or delivering it to the collector/recycler) and fill in the form with the approximate amount of waste you are disposing of.

It's as simple as you can imagine. Those who register as a recycler must submit both an invoice and a video showing the waste's weight on the scale.
###### 🔶 **Hive: about creating institutional and personal accounts**
The most straightforward question was: can anyone register and post on Hive? Well, yes. However, we warn about the creation of institutional accounts and how we indicate that the conduct of authorship and distribution of rewards is practiced.
Of course, creating institutional accounts (such as this one from the Surflimpo project) is possible. Still, we indicate that the author of the publications is already on Hive, is correctly cited as the author of that publication, and enters as a beneficiary of that publication as well (the percentage he will receive can be defined in a particular way).
Why is it important? By indicating the author in the post and setting a share on the rewards, we ensure our reputation is not harmed. In the same way, it is also not cool to monetize on top of the content we did not produce; the curation teams can see this very poorly. Therefore, it is essential that the authors of the publications are registered with Hive and are appropriately referenced.
***3. Agendas for the next meeting***
We had thought about discussing POSH (Proof of Sharing) at this meeting, but it has become more of an opportunity to onboard our people and clear general doubts. If there's time, we'll move on to other agendas. We already have an agenda for the next (POSH), but if it doesn't happen, it will be left to the other meetings. It's good that we always have something to talk about.

Semana passada foi feriado no Brasil, por isso não tivemos reunião. Mas como tínhamos prometido, voltamos à programação normal essa semana. Tivemos uma reunião que passou bem rápido, com pessoas novas participando, por isso aproveitamos o encontro pra atualizar as pessoas das últimas atualizações e tirar dúvidas.

###### 🔶 **Recapitulamos quais são as nossas três ferramentas: SurfHive, Surflimpo e DeTrash**

Depois de definirmos [nessa reunião](https://peakd.com/hive-141964/@surflimpo/enpt-br-surflimpo-community-weekly-meeting-recap-10192022-the-relationship-between-surfhive-and-surflimpo-or-resumo-da-reuniao) qual era a relação entre a SurfHive e o Surflimpo, determinando que o Surflimpo passaria a ser um projeto de impacto dentro da SurfHiive, deixamos bem claro na semana seguinte quais eram as nossas três ferramentas que estaríamos utilizando pra viver e curtir o espírito do surf, de se conectar com o mar de formas diferentes e de cuidar dos oceanos. ###### 🔶 **Reunião extra com o Route Brasil**
Na última sexta-feira (04/11) foi feita uma reunião exclusiva com algumas pessoas da equipe da Route Brasil (iniciativa co-criadora do projeto Surflimpo e da moeda DROP) para apresentar essas nossas ferramentas.
Conseguimos apresentar a DROP e a Detrash e tirar dúvidas da galera, e deixamos para falar sobre a Hive em uma outra reunião, ainda a ser marcada, porque é um assunto um pouco mais complexo. Infelizmente tivemos poucas pessoas presentes nessa reunião, então vamos nos esforçar pra tentar achar um dia/horário melhor para que mais pessoas possam participar e para que o encontro seja mais produtivo.

###### 🔶 **Dicas para os novatos: comecem a jornada pelas nossas ferramentas entrando na comunidade Surflimpo**
Registre-se, reivindique DROPs, crie ofertas, etc. É a nossa ferramenta mais fácil e simples de usar, sem muitos mistérios e bem intuitiva. Outra dica é: por mais “boba” que a sua dúvida possa ser, não deixe de perguntar. Esse mundo da web3 pode ser muito complexo pra quem tá começando, por isso estamos 100% a disposição pra ajudar da melhor forma que podemos! Nenhuma dúvida é descartável!
***2. Dúvidas gerais***
Alguns de nossos usuários tiveram a experiência de reivindicar seus cRECY por destinar corretamente seu lixo. E continuamos tendo dúvidas sobre algumas coisas.
###### 🔶 **DeTrash: demora na validação**
Após submeter um formulário reportando seu lixo, está tendo demora na validação do mesmo até recebermos cRECY. Uma das usuárias já recebeu (como geradora de lixo), mas outro usuário, que se registrou como reciclador, já está a aproximadamente quase um mês sem receber suas recompensas depois de ter submetido o formulário.
Tivemos que deixar bem claro que sistema RECY da DeTrash ainda é bem novo e provavelmente a validação está sendo feita manualmente, por isso pode estar havendo demora pra receber nossa compensação. Vamos tentar trazer o Phil, fundador da DeTrash para participar da nossa próxima reunião pra tirar um tempinho e responder algumas de nossas questões.
###### 🔶 **DeTrash: opções de comprovante de que destinamos nosso lixo de forma correta**
Pra quem se cadastra como gerador de lixo, você tem a opção de submeter ou um invoice (ou nota fiscal) mostrando a quantidade e a o tipo de resíduo que está destinando para a reciclagem, ou um vídeo mostrando que está destinando seu lixo de forma correta.
Esse vídeo pode ser feito de duas formas: 1 - pra quem consegue destinar o lixo numa recicladora que pese o lixo, mas não dá invoice, fazer o vídeo mostrando o valor do peso do lixo na balança e falando em voz alta esse valor para que o validador possa confirmar o valor e; 2 – pra quem só tem como destinar seu lixo em lixeiras de coleta seletiva ou para catadores que não tem como pesar o lixo, fazer o vídeo apenas mostrando que você está destinando ele corretamente (colocando na lixeira ou entregando para o catador/reciclador) e preencher o formulário com a quantidade aproximada de resíduo que você está descartando.

É tão simples quanto você possa imaginar. Já pra quem se registra como reciclador, o mesmo deve submeter ambos os comprovantes, invoice e vídeo mostrando o peso do resíduo na balança.
###### 🔶 **Hive: sobre criação de contas institucionais e pessoais**
A dúvida mais simples, foi: qualquer pessoa pode se cadastrar e postar na Hive? Bom, sim. Porém alertamos sobre a criação de contas institucionais e como indicamos que seja praticada a conduta de autoria e distribuição de recompensas.
É claro que é possível criar contas institucionais (como é essa aqui, do projeto Surflimpo), porém indicamos que o autor das publicações já esteja na Hive, seja propriamente citado como autor daquela publicação e entre como beneficiário daquela publicação também (a porcentagem que ele vai receber pode ser definida de forma particular).
Porque isso é importante? Indicando o autor no post e definindo um percentual sobre as recompensas, garantimos que a nossa reputação não seja prejudicada. Da mesma forma, também não é legal monetizar em cima de um conteúdo que não foi produzido pela gente, isso pode ser muito mal visto pelas equipes de curadoria. Por isso, ressaltamos, que é muito importante que os autores das publicações estejam registrados na Hive e sejam devidamente referenciados.
***3. Pautas para a próxima reunião***
Tínhamos pensado em falar sobre POSH (Proof of Sharing) nessa reunião, mas ela tem se tornado mais uma oportunidade de onboarding de nossas pessoas e tirar dúvidas gerais. Se sobrar tempo, entramos em outras pautas. Bom, já temos pauta para a próxima (POSH), mas se não rolar, vai ficando para as outras. É bom que a gente sempre tem assunto para falar.
