I am totally convinced that the only unconditional love that exists is that of a mother for her children, but we must not forget that not all are good mothers, since some mistreat savagely, rape and even kill their own children, in them nature seems to have made a mistake.

However, the good ones will always be more. The love for a child is immeasurable and for them we are capable of doing anything and we even awaken the spirit of a fierce beast taking care of their offspring when danger threatens them.


In my country Venezuela, a few days ago, a news that shocked the country and went viral also outside our borders was made known through social networks (several instagram pages:@noticias24hrs

It was the case of a family composed of dad, mom, 2 children of 2 and 6 years old, who were traveling by boat with their nanny and also had the company of 3 people, who set sail with the purpose of living a weekend of recreation but where the opposite happened.



The aforementioned group traveled on Friday in the boat "THOR" leaving from Higuerote with destination to the Archipelago La Tortuga, a beautiful and touristic place that is part of our federal dependencies.

Unfortunately, what had been planned as a fun trip, especially to distract the children, who due to the pandemic had been confined for their protection, ended in a terrible family tragedy that touched the most sensitive fibers of everyone who heard the news. In my case, I am not only a mother, but I also know what it is like to lose a child, it left me speechless and reaffirmed once again that there is only one mother.

On the way a strong swell hit the boat and broke it in two, according to information provided by the only adult survivor, leaving her crew members in the middle of the sea. The mother was located in a small boat, the nanny in a cellar and the others are still missing to this day. It is important to mention that they did not have life jackets and the location where there was no signal made it difficult to report the event. However, the people who were waiting for them at the Tortuga, when they saw that they did not arrive, notified the authorities.

They started the search a little late and 3 days later they managed to find the nanny, the mother and the 2 children still alive. When they arrived at the hospital unfortunately the mother died and when she was conscious the nanny told everything that happened and mentioned that the mother in a desperation to save the life of her children took her own urine and breastfed them knowing that with every drop of milk she was saving her children but her life was dying faster due to dehydration.

A mother is capable of anything for her children. This is a great lesson in love. I can't even imagine the anguish she lived during those days in that small space adrift from the sea, in the sun, without food or water, trying to reassure her little children. Truly, just thinking about her anguish breaks my heart.

This case left us many lessons, but above all that of the Love that always overcomes everything and for which we will always be able to fight to the end and the greatest of all: that which is felt for a child, that is why we are capable of being the heroines of our own stories. A mother who gave her life for her children without caring about her own, with an incredible fortitude, an enviable patience and a plan of action that she put into practice and that surpasses any human understanding. In the end she achieved her goal and her mission: Her children are alive today.

Mother's love is definitely capable of much. If only fate had been different. Let us embrace our children as much as we can, for life is often fleeting. May God have given rest to that great mother and may her children someday recover from the traumas they will face. Today I will protect my children more and I will be more grateful every day for their existence and mine in tribute to this heroine without a cape.</div>

>Estoy totalmente convencida que el único amor incondicional que existe es el de una madre para con sus hijos, pero no debemos olvidar que no todas son buenas madres, ya que algunas maltratan salvajemente, violan e incluso matan a sus propios hijos, en ellas la naturaleza parece haberse equivocado.

>Sin embargo las buenas siempre seremos más. El amor hacia un hijo es inconmensurable y por ellos somos capaces de hacer cualquier cosa e incluso se nos despierta ese espíritu de fiera cuidando a sus crías cuando algún peligro los asecha.

>En mi país Venezuela hace unos pocos días se dio a conocer por medios de las redes sociales (varias páginas de instagram como: @noticias24hrs. (https://www.instagram.com/p/CTh-WzXp_pG/?utm_medium=copy_link) una noticia que conmocionó al país y que se hizo viral también fuera de nuestras fronteras.  Fue el caso de una familia compuesta por papá, mamá, 2 niños de 2 y 6 años, que viajaban en lancha  con su niñera y que también contaba con la compañía de 3 personas, quienes zarparon con la finalidad de vivir un fin de semana de esparcimiento pero en donde ocurrió todo lo contrario.

>El mencionado grupo viajó un viernes en la lancha “ THOR” saliendo de Higuerote con destino al Archipiélago La Tortuga,un lugar hermoso y turístico  que forma parte de nuestras dependencias federales.

>Lamentablemente lo que se había planificado como un paseo de diversión , sobretodo para distraer a los niños, quienes debido a la pandemia habían estado confinados por su protección,  terminó en una terrible tragedia familiar que tocó las fibras más sensibles de cada uno el que supo de dicha noticia. En mi caso que no solo  soy madre, sino que también se lo que es perder un hijo me dejó sin palabras y reafirmando una vez más que Madre solo hay una.

>En el trayecto un fuerte oleaje golpeó la embarcación y la partió en 2 según información suministrada por la única sobreviviente adulta, quedando en el medio del mar sus tripulantes. La Madre es ubicada en una pequeña lancha, la niñera en una cava y los demás se encuentran desaparecidos aún hasta el día de hoy. Es importante mencionar que no contaban con chalecos salvavidas y por la ubicación donde no había señal hizo difícil reportar el evento. Sin embargo las personas que los esperaban en la Tortuga al ver que no arribaban dieron aviso a las autoridades.

>Iniciaron la búsqueda un poco tarde y 3 días después logran encontrar aún con vida a la niñera, la mamá y los 2 niños. Al llegar al hospital lamentablemente la madre muere y al estar consciente la niñera contó todo lo que pasó y mencionó que la madre en un desespero por salvar la vida de sus hijos tomó su propio orine y los amamantó sabiendo que con cada gota de leche salvaba a sus hijos pero su vida se apagaba más rápido producto de la deshidratación.

>Una madre es capaz de todo por sus hijos. Esta es una gran lección de amor. No puedo tan siquiera imaginar la angustia que vivió durante esos días en ese pequeño espacio a la deriva del mar, con sol , sin comida ni agua, tratando de tranquilizar a sus pequeños niños. En verdad de solo pensar en su angustia se me parte el alma.

>Este caso nos dejó muchas lecciones, pero sobretodo la del Amor que se sobrepone siempre a todo y por el que siempre seremos capaz de luchar hasta el final y el más grande de todos: el que se siente por un hijo, por eso somos capaces de ser las heroínas de nuestras propias historias. Una madre que dió la vida por sus hijos sin importarle la suya, con una entereza increíble, una paciencia envidiable y un plan de acción que puso en práctica y que sobrepasa cualquier entendimiento humano. Al final logró su objetivo y su misión: Sus hijos hoy  están con vida.

>Definitivamente el amor de madre es capaz de mucho. Ojalá el destino hubiese sido diferente. Abracemos a nuestros hijos todo cuanto podamos, que la vida muchas veces es efímera. Que Dios le haya dado el descanso a esa gran madre y que sus hijos puedan recuperarse algún día de los traumas que les tocará enfrentar. Hoy protegeré  más a mis hijos y agradeceré cada día más sus existencias y la mía en homenaje a esa heroína sin capa.</div>
