<p><a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2rmgVaijnf92nixlIZWGmg"><strong>searchforuhuru</strong></a> has a solid base of subscribers who are interested in &#x27;world-adjusting discussions&#x27;. With more than 1,000 videos on his YouTube channel of these sort of discussions, our live-stream conversation is among the few times that the topic is related to &#x27;blockchain technology&#x27;.</p>
<p>Yesterday, I had written a short proposal email and sent it to three YouTube channels, offering to appear in a live-stream on their channel to have discussions relating to &#x27;how easy it is to implement a DAPP in relation to their enterprise&#x27;. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2rmgVaijnf92nixlIZWGmg"><strong>searchforuhuru</strong></a> is &#x27;one of two people&#x27; that responded and hours later (2AM Manila time), he invited me to a stream.</p>
<p>I spoke about Steem/HIVE as being the perfect entry point for &#x27;introduction to blockchain technology &amp; digital currency&#x27; and related my own experience with regards to &#x27;finding the Steem blockchain&#x27; as a newbie to &#x27;blockchain technology&#x27; and the positive transitions i have made on it so far, in terms of &#x27;<a href="https://medium.com/surpassinggoogle/surpassinggoogle-the-entire-summary-51bf1d1cb612">building projects on it</a>&#x27;.</p>
<p>I will be invited to a follow-up conversation to discuss &quot;DAPPS&quot;. However, i would like to write an entire publication prior to the next stream, &#x27;<strong>enlisting and discussing the various DAPPs currently present on Steem/Hive&#x27;.</strong></p>
<p>Within the said live-stream, i reiterated on the fact that <strong>&#x27;with Steem/HIVE, you can already start your own DAPP by simple creating a Steem-community&#x27;.</strong></p>

<p>What was interesting to me by virtue of this particular live-stream discussion, is further evidence of the interest that the world at large had in this subject (e.g blockchain technology)&#x27;.</p>
<p>Looking at the chat-room, you will notice that people are indeed familiar with digital currency, perhaps, moreso than &#x27;blockchain&#x27;.</p>
<p>I mean, &quot;the recent Tron/Steem/Hive events&quot;, people in the chat-room appeared to know about it, even though they haven&#x27;t actually used &#x27;blockchain technology&#x27;.</p>
<p>A particular interest of people at this point in the scheme of blockchain has to do with <em>&quot;barriers to entry&quot;.</em> People are actually looking for &#x27;the easiest point of entry, when it comes to use of blockchain technology&#x27;.</p>
<p>In my discussion, i try to reiterate that &quot;Steem/HIVE it is&quot;. I wasn&#x27;t able to reiterate this efficiently though as it is my first time ever on their stream and it was like 1-hour short. So, they have invited me to a next stream.</p>
<p>During the course of these stream, i was able to touch on &#x27;DAPPS&#x27;, like d.tube, 3speak.online etc</p>
<p>In the next stream, i will discuss in fuller details various Steem/HIVE-based DAPPs and discuss the sign-up process. I will focus on &#x27;@appics, my steem-based tribe (marlians.com) and @dtube.</p>
<p>Then, i will especially focus on having &#x27;searchforuhuru&#x27; sign up to Steem/HIVE to setup his steem/hive-community.</p>

<p>On a final note, I got some new subscribers on <a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzI3Rjamg7zSe_o0BwSeIQQ"><strong>UloggersTV</strong></a> too, a channel that will create awareness for a steem-born innovation and form of content called &#x27;<a href="https://steemit.com/trending/hive-173493"><strong>Ulogs</strong></a>&#x27;.</p>

<p>One other way to market Steem/Hive is as &#x27;a place to easily build blockchain-based projects (especialy content-based/social projects)&#x27;.</p>
<p><em>Having started the Steem tribe called </em><a href="https://www.marlians.com/"><em>marlians.com</em></a><em>, i know that you can start a blockchain-based project on the Steem blockchain, with your own digital currency and exchange-listing (steem-engine.com) in the course of one week, even if you aren&#x27;t a programmer and on a small budget. At the very least, you can start this process by &#x27;setting up your steem/hive-community (provisional DAPP) with as low as 15 STEEM.</em></p>
