Can I Still Surpass Google? Just When I Think Steemit Is Helping Me Win, Google Comes Up With AutoML!

<p>Steemit has helped matters no doubt. Yes, steemit came from nowhere to help matters. I have always maintained that <strong>"if going to the moon happened, then making my dreams happen is like extinguishing full grown poop by converting it into tiny fart trinklets;</strong> "it is not that hard!"</p>
<p>Surpassing google has always been "it" for me. I know, that i meant surpassing google in grander scale (doing on behalf of humanity something that has never been done before) but in reality, i had also meant to surpass google.com (the search engine and brand) itself! <p>Yes, google.com has never been that intelligent with all the AI it uses! <strong>Type the word "money"</strong> into the google search engine and<strong> it should at least provide you with the address to the nearest ATM</strong> in the search results!</p>

<p>I have always doubted that AI can fully replace humans! It is just impossible! "There is no way AI won't be flawed", i would say to my self when i was younger as i would ransack the google.com and youtube.com search engine to try to discover how it's algorithm worked and it was obvious;&nbsp;</p>

<p>But now i am a bit bothered because Google isn't relaxing anytime soon. They keep evolving! Even as there is shortage of experts to create machine language, they aren't quitting.&nbsp;</p>
<p>At the most recent Google I/O conference, google introduced <strong>AutoML; </strong>a technology that can utilize <a href="https://curiosity.com/topics/the-computers-of-the-future-will-think-like-brains-curiosity/">neural networks</a> to teach itself. Google has ever looked into address the shortage of expertise in the field of machine-learning and this is where <strong>AutoML</strong> comes in. Basically,<strong> AutoML</strong> is a machine-learning software, that can create machine-learning software, making use of a technique similar to how <a href="http://www.turingfinance.com/misconceptions-about-neural-networks/">the human brain</a> and nervous system works. Unlike traditional computer, <strong>AutoML</strong> can follow examples and "learn" to improve its rules and methods. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<h2>Can Google's AutoML Really Accelerate AI?</h2>
<p>Google's AutoML is still in its early stages yet, it has already seen tremendous success and has been shown to beat humans already in terms of speed and efficiency. An early testing of AutoML was done, when researchers Quoc Le &amp; Barrett Zoph tasked <strong>AutoML </strong>to identify which architecture to use, if a <a href="https://www.technologyreview.com/s/607894/why-googles-ceo-is-excited-about-automating-artificial-intelligence/">software is to solve tasks, such as recognizing images and languages</a>, and it was able came up with a solution comparable to the best human-created solutions available in existence—and exceeded humans substantially, when it comes to language recognition.&nbsp;</p>
<p>There is simply no doubt that AI will stay! It is already being put to use in many of our daily social activities as many companies are already using this technology to recognize images, suggest things to watch/buy! AI can even predict the <a href="http://www.ibtimes.com/artificial-intelligence-used-predict-outcome-hundreds-human-rights-cases-2435865?utm_source=internal&amp;utm_campaign=incontent&amp;utm_medium=related1">results of legal proceedings</a>.&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Google's AutoML</strong>, based on what it has accomplished at its early stage does have the potential to <a href="https://www.technologyreview.com/s/607894/why-googles-ceo-is-excited-about-automating-artificial-intelligence/">accelerate the entire field</a> of AI and the more that people that have the ability to create customized neural networks, the greater the success rate of AI.</p>
<p>Regardless of google's pace with regards to development, i am out to surpass them! <strong>Can i do this?</strong></p>
<p>Or maybe the more appropriate question is: <strong>Have i not surpassed google already?</strong></p>

Google is badass, and they're setting themselves up to be the foundation of a large portion of AI in the world, by creating these tools that developers can use to create AI it sparks a lot of interest in the field and has also pushed a lot of people through the rough entry barrier. I think the other side of it is their API called TensorFlow(?) it is a library of all the fundamentals for machine learning so that people can start ahead of the curve and build really advanced AI in a short amount of time. Really amazing stuff if you ask me.

Hi @surpassinggogle.  I really liked your post.  As far as AI goes, well, it is great for destroying things but no smart enough to let some asshole turn it off yet.  I could put a photograph of the prime example in here but did not.

Remember, even with more chips a computer does this -> it adds.

To subtract it adds a negative number.

To multiply it adds a positive number (or a negative number) such that x*y equals and addition of 'x', 'y' times.  That is why addition is a for loop.

A division is a subtraction of 'x', 'y' times with a remainder if necessary.

You will win.

Every time I get worried about machines replacing us...I call up a credit card company & listen to their piece of shit automated phone system, their useless customer service reps, & try to view their severely lacking website which can't stay up for more than a few weeks due to security & programming issues.

Great article on Ai, but it seems like to use AutoML, you have to be familiar with Python. I talk a lot about Google Deep Mind and the open sourcing of their AlphaGo  machine learning algorithm for developers to use their true self learning Ai algorithm, and what that means for steemians going forward trying to rank for Rankbrain in my recent articles or make a living off their content here on Steemit.
