<h3>1. Make The Upvote Function Work Again.</h3>
<blockquote>In a recent issue, the back-end was worked on, so that the post/reply function can resume working normally.&nbsp;</blockquote>
<p>In an test earlier today however, i noticed that the upvote function wasn't functional. <strong>We would like you to fix this.</strong></p>
<p>During my test using a steem account with less than 500 SP, the upvote didn't got through and the error message received is:<em><strong> "You have exceeded maximum toggle for this post"</strong></em>.</p>
<p>Upon trying to vote using an account with SP larger than 500, the voting simply didn't work and there was no 'error' message.</p>
<p>We would like the upvote function to work properly, for all user-accounts <strong>regardless of their SP level, with corresponding</strong> <strong>'error' message</strong>, where vote cannot go through due to the steem blockchain restrictions.</p>
<p>e.g where a post is older than 7 days, the error message can be, <em><strong>"This post is older than 7 days. Your vote will not have an impact".</strong></em></p>
<p>Where RC is insufficient, the error message can be, <em><strong>"You need some more RC to vote. Wait till your RC recharges. Otherwise, purchase or lease Steem Power".</strong></em>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>2. Reduce The General Size (Dimension) Of Post Cards Across steemgigs.org&nbsp;</h3>
<blockquote>We want to reduce the size of posts-cards across steemgigs.org</blockquote>
<p>We want to be able to accommodate more post cards (at different instances) on our UI e.g our current homepage displays only 4 post-cards per column, where we want 5 post-cards.</p>
<p>This task request requires you to reduce the general dimension(s) for post-cards across steemgigs.org</p>

<p>This should apply to all post-cards types, whether custom-request-cards, testimonial-cards, gig-cards found on user profiles etc</p>

<h3>4. Make Steemgigs Testimonial-Cards Expandable</h3>
<p>Unlike conventional freelancing marketplace,<strong> steemgigs.org is very content-based</strong>. Thus, you will notice that in place of<strong> 'simple reviews'</strong>, we have<strong> elaborate 'testimonial posts'</strong>.&nbsp;</p>
<blockquote>We want users to be able to read full-blown posts about successful (steemgig) experiences &amp; reputable SteemGiggers.</blockquote>
<p>Our homepage also constitutes a means to display our entire vi-mission in one instance. Thus, we have dedicated an entire column towards the bottom of our homepage (upon login) to <strong>displaying testimonials</strong>.&nbsp;</p>

Very interesting project. While portals like upwork charge a commission, how does steemgigs find revenue ? With the chain transparent and with the escrow feature, Steem is exactly what is needed for a escrow-based service portal.

Hi bro, i value your comment. I have seen many of your thoughts on the blockchain and i have come to you through that means, even where you are technical.

Steemgigs is interesting. For starters, i am focused on the masses but i want to create value for human as opposed to money or a currency. where the @teardrops smt is eventually ready  it will be used across 3 steem interfaces, steemgigs.org, ulogs.org and macrohard

This currency shouldn't be affected by bulls or bears cos we will create value for humans. the ecosystem will be built around a list of certified uloggers. Basically core focus is to build this greylist and the scarcity effect will be around humans instead of a currency. So where we have 1000000 users and some 50k certified uloggers, we are on track. 

We will also create value around UI-perks which will be earnable. To enhance scarcity, these certified uloggers will have influence across these 3 steem interfaces and teardrops token across all three. this means, certified uloggers can appear on all our interfaces etc 

In truth, our model is build around actively create revenue for our users. this can translate into revenue for us.

If you contribute code to these projects, it will just be special. However, i know that you have many coding activities. The last project is macrohard, a fresh enterprise that involves coders. I am not a coder though but this gives me an out-of-the-box perspective when it comes to coding needs of the world. When macrohard begins to enter fruition, i will show you it.

Glanced through ulogs as well. In general, my opinion is that community building should be done by efforts like ulogs. That will help the blockchain developers to focus on their core work. Really appreciate the efforts here.

On SteemGigs : Its very valuable and in combination with efforts like utopian it can create immense value.

I appreciate the suggestion. I glanced through the tasks. They are mostly UI and front-end. From a programming PoV, I am more of a backend person with experience in C++ like languages. Something I do is plan and execute projects to avoid scenarios like https://steemit.com/utopian-io/@surpassinggoogle/task-request-kindly-help-us-restore-steemgigs-org-to-its-last-functional-state-additional-50-sbd-bounty (ie, plan for rainy day scenarios, ensure continuity, scalability etc.) Right now with "Gig" centric economy many a times expertise like mine is under challenge. There are lot of us with this 15 - 20 years experience segment and many a times people becomes "domain / industry specific" as opposed to experienced to programming.
