Hello friends, I found this amazing project some weeks ago and then I decided to do more research on it and I found the project vision, design and technology to be very interesting.

#### Brief Intro:
The fundamental goal of blockchain is to improve scalability to a very high degree while maintaining security and decentralization at an appropriate level.
This is where Quarkchain comes in.

>Quarkchain is an innovative permission-less blockchain architecture that aims to meet the global wise commercial standard by providing a secure, decentralized and scalable blockchain solution to deliver over 100,000 on-chain Transaction per second (TPS).

As we all may have noticed, Blockchain is the new big deal in town. Research and investments into the existing blockchains has seen an increase in transactions per second a well a transaction speed.

This picture shows that Ethereum performs 811,800 transactions per second on the average and its Capacity Utilization Index(A ratio of the blockchain daily activity to total blockchain capacity, CUI) is showing a warning sign already, showing it is stressed and is not handling its transactions easily. 
Presently, it is having 20,264 unconfirmed transactions.
This accounts for most of the clogging and unconfirmed transactions experienced on the ethereum blockchain from time to time. This is the scalability issue of blockchains.

#### The Quarkchain Objective/Goal

For blockchain to be accepted and used widely, it has to be able to handle these large volume of transactions. Quarkchain aims to expand the usability and scalability of blockchain technology without compromising security and decentralization which are the main features of a blockchain. 
Quarkchain is moving the transaction per second capacity of the blockchain to about 100,000 plus, again, while appropriately maintaining security and decentralization. 
This means that there will be no congestion, and, of course, lower transaction fees on the Quarkchain network.
Basically, Quarkchain provides a better network while maintaining the three main features of a blockchain – security, decentralization and scalability. 

#### Why Quarkchain?
I think Quarkchain is a good investment right now because of its intriguing approach to scalability. The Quarkchain team also have good experience in what they intend to achieve in the centralized world and they are bringing it online to decentralize it.

#### The Quarkchain Sharding Design:

On a general note, sharding simply means partitioning data in a large database into smaller parts or layers known as shards. We can call the Quarkchain sharding technique the *divide and conquer* approach. 
* Elastic Sharding:
The Quarkchain network contains an elastic sharding blockchain layer which consists of minor blockchains (shards). Each shard or layer will process a subset of transactions independently. 
* Root Blockchain:
The Quarkchain network also has a root blockchain which confirms all blocks from sharded (Or sub-layered) blockchain. This root blockchain does not processany transactions.
* Additional shards:
Users would experience faster processing of transactions because adding shards is pretty easy and fast.

#### In Summary:
The Quarkchain design is based on these principles:
* Enhancing the scalability while maintaining security and decentralization
* Enabling cross shard transaction for users
* Providing simple account management for clients 
* Open standard to support various decentralized applications
* Incentive driven ecosystem

#### Quarkchain Tokensale:
There will be no pre-sale. Don't get scammed. Also public sale will not be cancelled so quickly discard any information saying otherwise.
However, there will be  a private sale of which the hard cap target is $16M.
Then the public sale will commence with a hard cap target of $4M. I really think the project is a good one. Also more research can be made on this project because there’s a lot to be discussed about it.
