
In recent years, there has been a rapid growth in the block-chain ecosystem, other public chains like Etherum, Litecoin, Ripple, Cardano has emerged, hence creating a competitive environment. This development prompted researchers to look for other application of blockchain technology to the “human world” other than trading and exchange. The continuous study led to the exposure of the shortcoming inherent in the block-chain technology. They discovered that the existing blockchain technology is unable to scale for large-scale performance. The design lacks the capacity to support diverse business scenarios, also it was quite impossible to exchange information across diverse block-chain networks.
WHY SEELE
SEELE was established to the develop the block-chain system hence promoting their wider application in the real world. It addresses core challenges in the consensus algorithms, Value internet protocols, ecological topologies and underlying network protocols. To promote the wider application of block-chain and Value Internet, the seel guarantees safe circulation of values and resources within the global chain.
In order to ensure it effectively tackles the problem it was created to solve, it was built on four core design principles. They are the dynamic expansion, open system architecture, resource isolation and interoperability
Neural consensus algorithm
To create a consensus algorithm that tackles the shortcomings of existing algorithm, in terms of scalability, security, and efficiency. The seele harmonizes the advantages and the disadvantages of consensus algorithm to form a new consensus algorithm. An important feature in the seele consensus algorithm is its linear scalability i.e. its performance is proportional to the size of its node.
Unlike existing consensus algorithm, the seele consensus algorithm has a strong resistance to Sybil attack.
Heterogeneous Forest block chain structure
Traditional block-chain networks are full of many bottlenecks that have adversely affected its adoption in other business scenarios because Inherent in it is a closed network structure which hinders it from executing cross-chain interaction between different chains. To eliminate this shortcoming, the seele adopts the forest block chain structure. It was designed to meet the structure of diverse businesses in the real world
Internet connection
Traditional Block-chain nodes is a complicated network environment, this is because the blockchain nodes are globally located. Network fluctuations adversely affect the operations of the consensus algorithms and the synchronization of blocks between nodes in its environment. This is because the block-chain network makes use of TCP(Transmission control) protocol and UDP(User datagram ) protocols.To eliminate this shortcoming the seele adopts the QVIC (Quick Value Internet Connection) protocol. The QVIC has a better connection and security level than the former. To confirm the quality of the QVIC (Quick Value Internet Connection) over the TCP (Transmission control) protocol. A test was conducted using 50 machines in data centers at China( Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou) and London. The objective was to test data transmission. The result shows that the QVIC protocol has better transmission rate and speed up ratio than the TCP protocol
User data privacy
The seele uses multi-computing cryptography algorithm to ensure users data are executed on the contract virtual machine without compromise
