This was coming, everyone could sense it and I was waiting for it desperately. After Polychain capital and Coinbase Ventures invested $2.5 million recently in CoinDCX, it was obvious that CoinDCX will be following in the footsteps of the giant Coinbase. However, this was not the only investment that Coinbase made in this cryptocurrency exchange, CoinDCX received a funding of $3 million from Coinbase earlier this year.
You might be aware of the "Coinbase earn" program where Coinbase educates people about different cryptocurrencies and rewards them with some money as well. Right now, you can earn around $250 on Coinbase earn if your country falls under the supported ones. India isn't there yet, so I have not had the opportunity to earn yet but they might add more countries soon, so, feel free to sign up for the platform.
I think that DCXLearn will be a similar kind of learning program but it will be focused on Indian people only. I noticed one small thing here that instead of "earn", CoinDCX has used "learn" which hints at the possibility that people won't be able to earn crypto while learning about it at the same time. However, I have a feeling that they will follow the footsteps of Coinbase and will be rewarding users with some crypto. I don't expect it to be $250 but 10-20% of this money seems a possibility.

I received an email from CoinDCX early in the morning mentioning that they will be selecting the first batch of 1000 users on a first come first serve basis for their DCXLearn program when the platform launches. I signed up almost immediately and I hope that I will be in that first batch of learners and hopefully earn some crypto as well.

CoinDCX is among the leading crypto exchanges in India along with WazirX that was acquired by Binance earlier this year in a multi-million dollar deal. WazirX also launched a native crypto token on the Binance Launchpad. I won't be surprised if CoinDCX does the same but to get it on Coinbase will be a huge ask right now.
The funding was a direct consequence of RBI lifting the ban on Indian banks. Recently, the Supreme Court of India announced that no one is barred to trade and provide services when it comes to cryptocurrency in India. These two announcements has lifted the spirits of Indian crypto investors and traders.
