Hoy desperté con la idea de que viajaríamos mañana, a una competencia de karate en la ciudad de Maturín, sin embargo, sólo iban tres atletas por el dojo donde está mi hijo y los otros dos no podrán ir, así que se canceló ese viaje.

Al momento me sentí un poco desilusionada, pero después sentí alivio, porque pensándolo bien, iba a ser un gasto fuerte, porque debíamos dormir allá, además del consumo de gasolina, la comida, el pago del evento en sí... el hecho es que como tenemos que viajar también el sábado de la próxima semana, este ahorro nos cae como anillo al dedo.

Mientras tanto los atletas siguen entrenando tan fuerte como pueden, hoy tuvieron otra clase de CrossFit y mi hijo está todo adolorido en consecuencia.

Por otra parte, hoy mi hija esperaba con emoción su clase de Water Polo de los viernes, llegamos a la piscina y todo parecía bien, los atletas hicieron su calentamiento y entraron al agua, pero de repente, empezaron a caer rayos uno tras otro y el sonido era estruendoso. 

Los niños salieron muy rápido de la piscina, el cielo estaba gris y comenzó a lloviznar. 

Apenas estaba comenzando la clase, ni siquiera habían empezado a jugar, pero entonces el profesor se las ingenió y comenzó a enseñarles fuera del agua, algunos movimientos de esa disciplina deportiva y así transcurrió el tiempo hasta la hora de salida.

Al final no llegó a llover fuerte, sólo cayeron algunas gotas, pero como los relámpagos son una amenaza para los niños en la piscina, es mejor prevenir que lamentar.

The kids got out of the pool very quickly, the sky was gray and it started to drizzle.

The class was just starting, they had not even begun to play, but then the teacher managed and began to teach them out of the water, some movements of that sport discipline and so the time passed until it was time to leave.

In the end it did not rain heavily, only a few drops fell, but as lightning is a threat to children in the pool, it is better to be safe than sorry.

De regreso a casa, mi princesa se lamentaba por no haber podido disfrutar la clase que tanto había esperado durante la semana, lo cierto es que es algo que ocurre muy a menudo, las cosas no siempre salen como las esperamos.

En un mismo día hubo dos cambios de planes inesperados, por razones ajenas a nuestra voluntad, a veces es bueno recordar que no tenemos el control de todo, por eso no podemos asegurar que algo será como pensamos.

Y de la misma manera de que deberíamos saber que no tenemos el control de todo, debemos tener la capacidad de aceptar las cosas como suceden, sin que eso se convierta en un motivo de amargura, al final,  siempre es mejor lo que pasa.

Con el tiempo he podido ver que todo pasa por algún motivo, que aunque en ese momento no lo entienda, no es un castigo para mí, simplemente debía ser así, no me corresponde juzgar lo que está bien y lo que está mal, sino intentar aprender lo que corresponda en cada situación y enfocarnos en agradecer por todas las bendiciones recibidas.

With time I have been able to see that everything happens for a reason, that even if at that moment I do not understand it, it is not a punishment for me, it simply had to be that way, it is not for me to judge what is right and what is wrong, but to try to learn what is appropriate in each situation and focus on being grateful for all the blessings received.
