Class Tour to National Monument Minar e Pakistan

Today, I am sharing part of the Lahore tour. We visited the National Monument, Minar e Pakistan, which reminds us of 23rd March 1930 when Lahore Resolution passed. That particular day is the celebration that Muslims of Subcontinent started demanding new homeland. From that day, real struggle for Pakistan started.

I been to Lahore and to Minar e Pakistan many times with my school tours, with family and with friends but this time, it was different of them all. These were my university class fellows.

Many class fellows were visiting these historical places for the first time. I remember, many class fellows were asking again and again that why this city is so hot? This city is over rated and so many questions that are still hanging in my mind.

I can recall my old patriotic days, when i remained eager to reach the heights of this Minar. I used to be very patriotic. May be, somewhere, still i am patriotic, but my passion is dying, and i am against the notion of creating walls and putting forward the notion and idea of nationalism. Idealogy is manipulative. Only a rich class of the country provides the idea to the poor. In reaction, the humble class accepts that idea to be relevant to the elite and to the rich.

Masses struggled a lot to make and to build this country and to make this country. We should be proud of them all. On walls, our national heroes were portrayed. We cannot recall the pain with which masses went through. This time, we should try to make bridges instead of making and creating walls of hate against each other. On both sides of the wall, humans are living. Live and let other humans live.

Sun was strong, it was sending direct toxic and powerful rays. These strong rays didn't slow down the spirit and joy of people. Everyone was living full in that unbearable heat.

Minar e Pakistan is located in Greater Iqbal Park. In this Park, there were many tourists, visitors and school trips. I remember my school tour when i took ride of different swings.

Unidentifiable fruits or whatever{ I don't know} but i remember we, me and my bestie, were having arguments over this fruit. We were discussing; What is would be and what not?
