What makes you a good person? In Submarine, a film that marked my adolescence, where the protagonist tells the viewer that he wants to die, not because he has depression or something similar, but because he is curious to know how his acquaintances would act for that event, and despite the fact that I have years without watching that movie, that scene came to mind today while thinking the same thing… how would people who know me react to my death? What would they say about me? Was I a good person? These are questions that with firm certainty I will not be able to answer, since I will never be able to know what will happen after my death, but I know that some people will miss me. In the same way, missing someone because he was always there for you is not the same as knowing that that person was a good person in life, so, it is impossible for me not to redound my head with that question.

Son preguntas que con una firme seguridad no podré responder, ya que no podré nunca saber que pasará después de mi muerte, pero sé que algunas personas me van a extrañar. De igual manera, extrañar a alguien porque siempre estuvo para ti, no es lo mismo que saber que esa persona fue una buena persona en vida, así que, me es imposible no redundar en mi cabeza con esa pregunta.*

Some people link being a good person with religion, others talk about your actions and others just talk about how you can have a good heart or not. Machiavelli said that all people are bad, but I do not think so, speaking of the "pure" heart of people seems a bit general, since (as I see it) if most people have a good heart So most people are good, and they are not. I like to think that the world has more good people than bad, but I cannot think that as much as I want; I know that I do not know everyone, and that I am possibly wrong, but everything proves otherwise.

I try to keep well with myself saying that I am a good person, doing things that corroborate what I say. Helping other people and being polite is an example, an example that is difficult to see as something that is commonly done. For this reason, I just had a hard time thinking of myself as a good person, since helping someone, giving them my time and so on, seemed more like an act of education than someone who is a good person, however I recently understood that doing good deeds is just the tip of the iceberg. Anyone can do a good deed, but not everyone does it with the feeling of feeling good just by helping someone, not everyone is happy knowing that it makes other people happy, people they've just met and people they may never see again. . I feel good knowing that within me, I am one of those people.

Cualquiera puede hacer una buena acción, pero no cualquiera lo hace con el sentimiento de sentirse bien solo por ayudar a alguien, no cualquiera está feliz sabiendo que hace feliz a otras personas, personas que acaba de conocer y personas que tal vez nunca vuelva a ver. Yo me siento bien sabiendo que dentro de mí, soy una de esas personas.*
