I think most medium of art expression more or less share the same process from initial idea(s) to finished work. The timing usually varies from one medium to another. I feel music is one of the most time consuming, perhaps with coordinating or balancing the lyrics with the vocal sounds, beats and rhythm, etc.

This part is very relatable, especially during the early morning and right before going to bed.
