I've been drawing very little lately. It is actually so cold here that the only desire is to crawl under the covers and, at best, knit warm clothes. 😕 I don’t feel like sitting and drawing at all, because it’s cold in the apartment and my hands are cold. The fact is that the winter in our country is short, so there is no central heating in apartments and houses. We turn on the air conditioners to warm up. But there are, though rarely sunny, pleasant days, and then you can go out onto the balcony and draw.

I have already drawn twigs and leaves; noted which ones will be in the foreground, and which ones will not be so bright and contrasting. Then I move on to the details.

Leaflets in the upper left and right corners should not be contrasting. I tried to draw them less bright and closer to the background color. So the main leaves stand out visually better. I tried to draw frost on the leaves. Well, yes ... It takes a lot of work on this to get something similar. 🤔 As you can see in the photo, I use the reference on a tablet when drawing.

I also made some branches at the bottom of the picture closer in color to the main background and I liked it. 
From time to time I go back to what I have already drawn and correct it. So I'm moving very slowly. This time I decided to slightly fix the leaves in the upper right corner - draw them not so small, but a little larger.

In my opinion, the drawing looks more harmonious. I made a collage for you to make it easier for you to appreciate. Emphasis on the top right corner.

Here I got stuck again as the temperature dropped a lot and it started to rain. 😕 But from this week it is getting warmer and I think that I will be able to continue my drawing lessons. 😀
