MY CABBAGE ODE:)) & MY FAVOURITE WINTER DISHES

In winter cabbage is one of the most popular vegetables in my place. It's cheap, it is sold all year long, and it gives a great choice of dishes.

Moreover, cabbage is very healthy!

 - cabbage juice is useful for our digestion system and it gives relief in cough treatment
- cabbage has lots of vitamin C
- cabbage leaves are used to treat skin deseases, flu and even milk problems while breastfeeding!
- sauerkraut is a real treasure for our immunity!
- stewed cabbage is...just tasty and loved by me and my son very much;))

So now I wanna show 2 dishes that are always on my table in winter - sauerkraut and stewed cabbage.

I make a special  sauerkraut - not only with carrots but with a beef as well. It gives great bright colour and more benefits for health!

So we cut cabbage with cabbage shradder, then add there carrots and beef + some salk and spices. The thing is we need to make cabbage give its juice as fast as possible to start pickling process.

Then we need just wait for 3 days and enjoy super tasty and healthy cabbage!

Stewed cabbage is my son's favourite dish;) Many people are surprised because as a rule in my place kids don't like veggies much, but I tried my best to form right food habbits in my son, so now he can eat almost all salads and stewed cabbage every day;))

Cabbage + some onion + spices and salt + some tomatoes (not obligatory) + some avocado and ghee oil and in 15 min a perfect cabbage dish is ready;)

That's our most often winter dishes now;)
