Have you ever had a ready meal that looked like crap and after eating it you thought that it actually tasted quite nice.

Well I’m betting if you looked at the ingredients list you would find at least 1 Flavour enhancer if not more. They aren’t just found in Ready Meals and are added to a lot more food than you think.

Flavor Enhancers induce an effect called Umami, a savory flavor that makes food taste great, unbeknown to you, food manufacturers have been using these to addict you to their foods or make the crap they do produce taste better than the horrible mess it truly is.

If you live in Europe these Flavor Enhancers can be found in the E600 – E699 range and should be identified on the list of ingredients.

There are plenty of health reasons to be avoiding this list of additives and I will go into them in more detail as I expand on the course, however with a Fat Loss perspective, these products are found in processed food, fast food, take aways, snacks and foods you never even thought would have them.

They are used sometimes, in my opinion in dangerous amounts and their entire purpose is to make the food they are found in taste better and in some cases addict people to the foods in question.

If you’re trying to lose fat, the last thing you want to do is eat foods that because of the artificial flavourings involved either make you want to eat them more or make you unable to stop eating them until they are gone.

If you don’t believe me then answer me this have you ever wondered why once you pop you can’t stop? or why the cheap crappy burger from the fast food place taste so good?
