I believe having thoughts alone and in silence helps clear the cobwebs from the mind and makes us see things with greater clarity. So also does writing. I think your day today went well comparatively, at least you were able to tackle several important things, especially attending to your family, visiting the gym and finding time to write down your thoughts. And you are also being a great father to Smallsteps. Thanks for writing. 

I love taking the bus and train to work. You can get a lot of work done before you get to work. And the views are spectacular.  I have to remind my iPhone that no, I am not driving.

Sounds like a very full and worthwhile day!  I would imagine after the stroke learning Finnish is probably a bit harder than it would have been before.  Were you trying to learn before or is it just something that doesn't feel necessary?  I'm just curious.  I'm not trying to call you out or anything :).

I am writing this comment as I am sitting on a bus, a 40 min ride into the city,  I  plan to take a look around the tour down under display after work. 

Children are a reflection of their parents so you must be a kind person

I prefer riding the bus—or train if I can get a seat. I mean, I like driving, but being free to look around, read/write, do other things, etc, is just too much of an advantage. 

Heh speaking of being aware of shortcomings and commenting, I was thinking of writing a post this week or next about my difficulty keeping up with commenting and my focus on trying to correct this. I read a lot of posts but don't make time to comment on them. At least I think I mostly do an ok job replying to comments on my posts.

I didn't realize that you write your posts a little at a time. I felt like I need to sit down and finish a post once I start it. It is a bit difficult for me to go back to my train of thought if I tried what you are doing. 

I actually prefer taking public transport instead of driving by myself. I get to relax, play games on my phone, and don't have to be mindful of the road. It is also good that you are somehow returning to normalcy and being able to go back to the gym. I heard it is good for both mind and body.

There can never be too many hugs to your child. Maybe too little.

It is good to know that you don’t have to stress yourself trying to drive since you can board a bus and the good thing is that you are able to write your articles and attend your online meeting which you won’t be able to do if you were driving

My son does not like me being too close but that does not mean I do not get my hugs. I veto him with my hugs anyway.

I struggle on how to communicate to my son on how to speak up and be firm when something is wrong. He is 4 and he is yet to understand the concept but I do not want him to not push away the bullies :)

I've been feeling very busy during the last 10 days and I resonate with you it is good to relax on public transport sometimes. You forget about the traffic and just relax or do some online work on the phone. 
The train also gives you the perspective of the crazy traffic on the road, and lines of stopped cars on the highway while you are sitting (when there are empty seats) comfortably without suffering on the road. I love that feeling :)

I believe you enjoy every moment. Making your time worthwhile and doing multi-tasking. I cannot concentrate writing if I am listening to a meeting, good for you that you are capable of doing it.

People's psychology get affected deeply while going to work or school in the morning in December as the sun rises after 8 am here. I wonder how you cope with that l8ng darkness there.
