We spent the day looking at tiles today, so rather than show pictures of that, I thought one of my wife would be better. The hardware stores were very quiet yet, we still are going to have to rush to make sure we can get some decent tiles at least, as most of the supply chain are no longer delivering. This is going to cause us some major headaches as it will mean that we will likely have to buy from Finland, and that is up to 3x the price on many items. We were hoping to get our bathroom fittings through Amazon Germany, but it seems we will not be able to. We are on a tight budget and it means we will have to get creative.

I have accepted it and decided, we will be okay. Even while the future housing market price will likely fall through the floor, we were able to get a decent amount for our apartment as it was prior to any of the Covid-19 scare. We will also be okay if interest rates increase considerably as we collared our loan for 10 years. And even if we can't get materials, we will make do and wait until we can - although this is going to be costly if we are unable to roll the renovation loan into our main, but not excessively so.

Yet, all of this does put pressure on us, as we are now both working from home at jobs that require a lot of screen and conversation work, with our daughter here during the days making it very challenging. Our place is partly packed for moving in just over a week and we (mostly my wife) have to talk to tradespeople and suppliers for things that we don't have any idea about, and there are massive variations in so many factors, including price. There is opportunity to choose well and opportunity to choose very poorly, with the amount of conflicting information from professionals is obscene. Plus of course, the Corona issues - making sure we have food and medicine for our daughter - shopping for my in-laws as they are elderly and are trapped indoors and of course, all of the Hive and Steem stuff to stay abreast of over the last 6 weeks.

But, it will calm down as we find our new rhythms of working and managing, as our daughter acclimatizes to the at home life, as we actually shift into our new home and start tearing it apart, as we begin to see the results of our effort. The feedback from action is a vital part of keeping stress at bay, as it takes away the uncertainty of direction, as things start to move forward. Currently, a lot of our decisions are in limbo, while we have to wait for prerequisite information to arrive - little things like, what kind of bathroom drain we can install, as that is going to affect our tile choices. There are hundreds of these things to consider and we don't even have accurate room dimensions, yet have to start ordering.

As said however, *it'll be fine,* as when it comes to the house part at least, as long as we survive the flupocalype, we will probably be in this house for the next decade (or two or three) anyway. It is because of this that we want to do it in the right way for us, meaning that we do not regret the decisions we made and then have to live with them for the next 20 years - each day being reminded by those damn, slightly wrong grey, tiles.

Whatever the situational stress, generally a little self-reflection is enough of a reminder that life isn't so serious and most of what we do isn't that important. This doesn't mean they don't have meaning to us as individuals, but in the grand scheme of things, the conditions that drive our emotional position are generally far less important even a moment later, let alone years down the track. However, our reactions in the moment can have far reaching implications and can poison and destroy relationships - even if we *didn't really mean it.*
