What to do when the baby is asleep in her pram? Get the knees dirty.

The sun is shining today which is a bit of a change of late. So far, the summer has been rainier than not. I took my daughter out so she could get some fresh air and have a nap in the shade. We have all been a bit under the weather the last week which has had us trapped inside. She woke up happy for the first time in a while so hopefully, she is on the mend.

Some sunshine was just what I needed too. I am not much of a sun worshipper but occasionally it helps recharge the batteries and reset the mind. I have become a much more outdoorsy person since moving to Finland and spend quite a lot of time wandering the woods close by. 

This little girl was also out and about just bee-ing. It relaxes me trying to chase the bugs around from flower to flower and watching all the micro movements they make to get their job done. If only humans were as hard working as those in the animal kingdom.

There are many ways to meditate to bring the mind back to the centre. Some like to focus their thoughts, I like to expand mine  out and when I walk through the forests, I find my thoughts very far apart. I like inhabiting the space between, although while there, I do not realise I am in that space of course.
