Ah that’s a great story and memory for you man! I’m pretty sure I remember mine as well.. though it’s a little fuzzy as some of those things are for me. 

I wasn’t good with the ladies, though I’ve had some successes I think my confidence was the issue lol. I always thought I would fuck it up instead of taking charge like we should. 

Her name was Jackie and we were in a park when I got my first one. I was a late bloomer too, but it wasn’t a cool slow dance one, lol. I did like the dances though, to sharpen my skills!

The crazy thing is these days, my kid already has a girl that’s head over heels for him and I feel like it was at least 1-2 years before that happened for kids in my school lol. Times have changed!

In moments like these feelings are mixed and very intense between excitement and curiosity and it makes it a special moment that stays engraved in the heart and memory.

First kiss are always memorable which is an experience one can easily forget.

I was fifteen and the girl, Toni, was from another part of town but babysat for an aunt who lived in our neighborhood. I had just swapped my thick glasses for contacts at the beginning of that summer (1986) so I was riding high on the wave of newly found confidence. She was, obviously, much more experienced than me. It was exhilarating, disorienting, and probably the end of what would be considered "childhood".  It was a drama-filled summer fling and we broke up when school started in September.  After that dating began as did an endless quest to *grow up.*

The closest I go to that was kissing some girl near the ear at some party. I guess I did this whole kissing thing wrong...

I actually *don't* remember my first kiss outside of family kisses. Pretty sure I was 15... A girl called Kate whose family were clearly like the richest poshest people I'd ever known, in Oxford of all places.

Met online but then in person. When I stayed at her place for a couple of days with her parents and such, I drove through this forested entry, round the trees I saw a giant mansion, and through the kitchen window in the morning, horses. (I had a separate room parents made me sleep in haha)

Like... I did *not* appreciate what I was seeing as much as I should have lol. But we did kiss at some point there, maybe in the cinema. 

Long distance though, didn't work out. 

Oddly her phone number is the only one I remember other than my own current one. 

This story takes a dark, creepy turn though. 

Maybe I'll write about it in more detail XD

So I've already told you, but I'll tell you again: My first kiss was in Jim W's basement. He had let me smoke a cigarette, which probably only made for a smell even more loathsome than that of his acne medicine, which I swear I can still, 55 years later, remember clearly. I'll bet I could identify which brand it was if you lined  the 1970's acne meds up and asked me to choose. His mother was not happy, either with the cigarette or with our being alone in her basement. The next time I spoke to him was at our 30th high school reunion. We didn't talk about the kiss. I wonder if he remembers. I still thought he was cute.

Nah never went in, got dropped off then snuck round to the dunes to drink and smoke bongs 😃 Police were busy with the blue light disco. 

I don't remember my first kiss :) There were many and they were all very forgettable :) 

The first kiss with all its awkwardness is utterly electric. The fear of messing it up, self doubts are so real. But, it is all about the courage to lean in, lock eyes and share the spark. That shared excitement remains with the ones forever, reminding you the beauty doesn't lie in flawless execution but in the brave leap into the unknown. That spark, those feelings: I still remember everything. The rush of warmth, wonder and joy. It felt like the world belongs to us and us only. 

Firsts are usually unforgettable. Firsts are usually the best. First love, first job, first kiss. My first kiss was so weird that I actually laugh every time I remember it, I can't give any details :)

I remember not my first kiss well, but the one that came before it. When I was 13, at a pioneer camp a girl kissed me on the neck and I had a bruise on my neck. When I came home, my parents asked me for a long time what I was doing at that pioneer camp :)

I think that kissing someone at those times was a big step for a young to have experience in a relationship. However, today, I see young couples do more than kiss :)
