Due to bad weather, there has been some delays in flight times. We were meant to already be back in Finland, but we still have a two hour weight at Frankfurt airport in front of us. This means that it could be that I won't get home tonight at all, because even if we get to Helsinki, there might be no way to get to where I live. The storms in Finland have brought down trees across rail tracks and roads, and supposedly, there has been a bit of chaos. Now, just in case you didn't know, Finland is no stranger to bad snow conditions, and there is very, very rarely problems caused because of it.

The other thing that has sucked is that both of my colleagues have lounge access and can take a guest in. One colleague met a friend who is on the same flight as us and took him in. And my other colleague was taking mine, but due to all the delays, it was full and he couldn't take a guest. However, he didn't go in and instead we have spent the last 3 hours talking about life, death and unemployment. He is one of the company's earliest employees and was surprised that I have lost my job there. But, we didn't dwell too much on that, and instead talked across a wide cross-section of experiences. 

It has been a very long day and we might only be halfway through it at this point, so I am not sure how reflective I feel right now, so I might keep this post more a post, and not an article. It has also been a pretty intensive day, even though it was enjoyable for me, though a little bittersweet considering it is going to be the last one for some time to come. Who knows though, maybe something else happens that brings some new opportunities sooner than I think.

I was talking to my colleague about sleep troubles, and how I rarely have them now since I started writing consistently. He is even going to give it a go, as he is interested in ways to improve his own life experiences, and sleep is one of those areas where he hasn't had enough inroads, even though he has improved a lot. As I said to him, writing is a bit of a defrag for the brain, and also a very efficient way to process large amount of information in a short time frame. Spending a half hour writing probably has far greater health benefits for the brain than many hours of other activities - but building the daily habit seems to be the largest stumbling block for most people. 

But, as said, I am not going to go too deeply into anything now and instead will relax my own mind a little, and talk a bit more with my colleague. Though, I also have to find a place to charge my equipment before the flight. *Frankly,* this airport so far *sucks.* There is one restaurant in this terminal, and it is *packed,* with *all* of the other shops closed. Can't even get a bottle of water from somewhere. For one of the biggest terminals in Europe - *I don't get it.* It could just be my mood though - and lack of sleep jading my thoughts.
