Well done amazing photos

For habit building and improvement I like goals+micro-goals. I'm doing it for weightlifting at the moment because it's good to plan how much weight should I add to specific exercises. And of course, I have a clear picture of the gradual improvement.

For example in your case, you would like to improve in the field of photography. You could start a spreadsheet with a goal of 5k photos this year. Then you split it up. 5000/365= ~14 pics per day on average. Of course, this number is just an example, you could alter it based on your time, goals, etc. 10k-50k while you learn different tricks from forums and also sharing your pics for feedbacks. I'm sure after a year, you will have lots of breathtaking shots. It's inevitable.

Btw, the pics look good to me but unfortunately I can't give anything constructive since I'm an absolute noob at photography. :D

Cool pictures, @tarazkp (pun intended :D!) I usually look around, think about what I would like to get better at and try spending some time practising it. I can't really keep up if I choose a lot of things, and often lose motivation in continuing, so I guess it's better to just pick a few, and focus on those. Also, if you start to learn many different things I guess it goes better if you try to do them all progressively.

The lake you live next to is a big lake and there could be rifts in the middle. You are wise not to go to the middle, yet.

Lol.. To think you've been having issues making a video with your camera sounds funny to me. Well I agree with you though we should push ourselves into different directions and learn some new skills. The video was still pretty cool! Yeah, maybe a stabilizer of some kind would help. Taking videos usually seems even more difficult than pictures sometimes. I love the frost on the last photo you took too!

Snow makes everything look so good! Though I think the photos could be less blurry, they are still pretty cool :)

Trying new skills is a sign that life is still an experience and you are still learning.  It is said that the moment we stop learning,  we start dying.  
I wish I had a skill to teach you but you write better than I can teach.  😂  besides I too,  am aiming at learning new skills too.  I am aiming for Gifs and memes for starters.  When I have enough money,  I am getting a camera so I can take pictures and edit.  Maybe I will be a photographer yet.  
Your place is beautiful in winter too.  We just have dust and heat; fat flies too.  But it gets chilly at night and you can watch the dew creep into town on silent feet as the sun turns red and falls into the dusky night. Gosh!  I need a camera.

I *really* love the frosted chain. Beautiful in every way — *subject, exposure, composition*. ⭐️ I’ve got a tip for you regarding filming with your SLR @tarazkp! Use your camera strap as a brace — with it slung behind your neck, draw your arms straight forward, pulling the strap taught. This gives you a third point of contact, greatly reducing camera shake. As well, bend your knees and allow yourself to move fluidly rather than trying to hold still. In this way, your whole body is engaged and you become a human steady-cam. 😉 Bonus — you’ll get an excellent arm and thigh workout while you’re at it. 👍🏼 I’ll try to post some examples later of video captured using this technique.
