Hmm, you actually do have an intellectual disability yeah?  So I guess then it's okay to call yourself retarded.  I know Hive prides itself on being anti-woke but I still think it's probably nicer to not use things that people actually are to mean stupid.

It is amazing to watch people familiar with a tool go bonkers with it.  My partner last night was talking about how the app she's been working on is being translated into different languages and so she changed her phone to the Thai language to click around her app and was completely fine because she knew it so well.

Group dynamics can make or break a training session a lot of times. Small groups that can enjoy and open up to each other work pretty good. In a large group people do not want to look like an idiot in front of their peers, so may not ask about something they really do not understand. While a small group the person can joke about not getting it and not feel like an idiot. 

Enablement sessions are important! I know that we rely heavily on our enablement managers and SME's to deliver things for us so we know what the hell we are doing when it comes to working with a customer lol

It's funny thinking of the enablement folks, the good ones are the ones that can keep it light and throw some jokes in there! I've had one who was very blah but most of them are great. Makes enablement sessions effective.

You feel we are underperforming in the area of content delivery? Funny, I always thought that was the one area we outright excelled. 

Well in hindsight I think I agree when I look at the general engagement levels on the platform. I think this has to do with a number of factors -content skills, stake, willingness to engage and so forth. However, we definitely are on track - Our creators are getting better, people are holding more and there is an increased willingness to engage ( I may be wrong on this last one though)

Meetings and interactions are good. But too often those business barriers keep us from really getting to know one another. When we know each other, we can better serve one another. Best to the coffee with your friend. 

Definitely this kind of sessions allow to see the work from a different perspective and even more exciting, especially when the environment is not so stressful and the group of people is small. I think the information can be transmitted more easily, unlike in a more serious environment.

Small interactive meetings with a casual feel far more fun than lectures! Most probably remember more pertinent pointers than serious gatherings.

And this, gentle reader, is precisely why you should never under any circumstances tell the person that made/works on the system that the thing you want done "shouldn't take too long" if you have exactly no idea how said system works XD

We do something like live interaction content in our community on HIVE. We ask a question about HIVE and then we reply it. Afterwards, we collect the answers to make a post.
