Precise predictions for 2020
<div class="text-justify">

So, the first day of the next decade of life has been lived and survived, but we aren't seeing the 2020 predictions of price movement happen yet. How long til moon?

I was talking briefly with my brother today who asked about my daughter's current allergy issues and once I explained he said, "you really need to catch a break sometime". Don't we all. I think that no matter how well or poorly things might be going, I get the sense that people will never really be satisfied by nature as we are built to advance, designed to imagine and predict the future and make actions in the present toward them.

This is a benefit and bane, as while we are able to take leaps and bounds technologically, we are in a state where our very advancement is far outpacing our evolutionary changes on how we think and feel about circumstances. We are conflicted in so many ways.

Animals work on instinct for survival and manage their resources to this end, yet we have created resources out of thin air, applied an arbitrary value to them and then made them necessary for survival - like money. Despite it all being imaginary and concept, we have made it real by attaching it to resources we do need, including the survival items of *food, clothes and shelter.*

Because of money, some over eat while others starve, some live in opulence while others ghettos. We even commonly organize ourselves along wealth lines to create class groups rather than what we might actually have in common as people via skill and interest.

I am always in two minds about chasing financial accomplishment, as while I know that it can lead to a great deal of harm, it is also *currently* required in order to make a difference in the world as it is the main currency of change actions. Everyone is driven by incentives and for most, a lot of the incentives are heavily influenced by economic consideration.

It will change one day, but that change isn't an overnight move, nor is it going to be driven by people opting out of the current system *unless* there are alternatives to opt-in to. Steem is an alternative, or at least, it has the *potential* to be an alternative given support and time to mature. Maturity is somethng that is often lacking on Steem as rather than spending time and energy on improvement, many would rather spend their attention on bitterness, revenge and undermining.

The beauty of a distributed ecosystem *isn't* in the smooth path to consensus. It is messy as it should be, because it is looking to find a line of best fit between highly diverse and alternatively incentivized parties who all have an agenda based on the outcome they desire. While not pretty in process, it is functional in design as it allows for the consolidation of the mess into that line while still allowing the freedom of movement in every direction.

Freedom to fail.

While everyone wants freedom, "failed" is not welcome and no one wants to take the responsibility for it. Freedom is an illusion as one will always be tied to preferences of some kind that drives action and, a future outcome that points a direction. While no one wants to fail, trial and error is one of the most efficient ways to innovate and a distributed community can run concurrent trials without risking the entire network.

But, the largest component of our future outcomes is likely our fear of failure, the thing that holds us back from making an attempt for what we might want or, the thing that makes us act in ways that are not supportive of accomplishing our future goals. Coming to terms with the fears we hold and adapting our reactions to facilitate our goals is key to reaching them. If what we are doing now is not conducive to whatever we consider our success in the future, we aren't acting well.

---

On that note, here is the 2020 future of my family as predicted by bees wax and shadows cast by candlelight. Solid.

![OI000156.jpg](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/tarazkp/nrjbhTbz-OI000156.jpg)

### Prediction 1: @smallsteps

According to her, it is a dinosaur and my wife and I decided that it is a good call, as both she and I saw a fetus and Smallsteps has been saying a lot of *when the baby comes* lately. What does a dinosaur mean for 2020? Well, that is open to interpretation... but *obviously* it predicts the return of what was thought *Ded.* Alts.

![OI000158.jpg](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/tarazkp/MVwTzlCw-OI000158.jpg)

### Prediction 2: @momone

Ah, this one was really creepy as when you look at the shadow you can see a face cast. The creepiest part was however that the same face was cast from another angle too, one that used a different part of the mold. It was very weird. I do not know what it means, but I hope it isn't the future face of the baby Smallsteps wants, as it has a bit of a "Mein Führer" vibe. Perhaps this signals the rising of a tyrannical leader, the centralized evil that look to exterminate all that is crypto.

![OI000159.jpg](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/tarazkp/RFsWdNUQ-OI000159.jpg)

### Prediction 3: @tarazkp

And then on to my own, which is painfully obvious. That is of course me riding a dragon which makes sense, as I have been preparing for this most of my life. This signifies that 2020 will be the year that the Steem dragon rises and all those who have stayed their course and completed their training by holding the emotions of the bear market at bay, will take wing and soar the heady heights of Steem success.

---

As you can see by the clear indicators provided and the clarity of my technical analysis for the 2020 crypto markets, these things should not be taken lightly. I am not going to tell you what to do with your money, but I think it is pretty clear what is right and what is wrong.

You do you.

@bashadow ·
On image two, excluding the mold, I see three shadows, The first one...Ghost of past crypto market...no real definition, just a budding thought.

The second shadow, (the darkest overlaid one), Crypto present. I see it thinking of itself, a nice silhouette, with a secondary face in the brain location, so looking inward trying to bring forth a new reality.

The third shadow, the farthest one to the right, a faded image of the second. Does it signify that the process will come through? that nothing really changed to the vision of today? With little change in those two shadows, I see it as a chance of stability, and that is something Steem has needed for some time.

Stability does not mean unchanging, so perhaps a few less pump and dumps for 2020. The three faces of Eve, I forget how that movie finished, whether it was on an up note or not. Of the three shadows, I do like that number 2 one the most.

It is fun to spend time anaylzing the mind this way, like a rorschach test.

The stability will come through spread of community across successful applications with people valuing the experience, nor just the potential for economic gain. It takes time to build that community though.

Hard to see anything else than what you said but I'm gonna try it anyway:

@smallsteps is going to start playing saxophone. The honey is just a bit distorted but I can see clearly the beautiful and big eyes that Smallsteps has. And the saxophone in her hands as she's sitting. So she will have big and healthy lungs.

@momone will grow really long hair (it's her face there in the honey) this year for you to start working out abandoning elevator and stairs altogether and start climbing home. Hope you live far above ground. So she will have really long hair and strong neck muscles (I guess it's be a whole body workout at the same time too) and you will develop climbing muscles.

As for your prediction. It's a camel. Humps, not wings. So it is a camel. My wild guess is that as you probably won't start smoking Camels (does that brand even exist anymore?) or won't turn into one, it's a trip to anywhere that has camels in it. Camellands. Does Korkeasaari or Ähtäri have camels? If it is a dragon then I predict that you become one.

>is going to start playing saxophone.

This goes into my new "Tanssi tahtien kanssa" show where instead of dancing, they play instruments, the violin, the trumpet, the saxophone - people will love 2 hours of amateurs playing instruments!

>will grow really long hair

I am hoping! I like long hair! :D

>So it is a camel.

This makes perfect sense as Smallsteps is already entering into the angsty teenager role and camel walking around whenever she is asked to do anything :)
