I can't believe people are getting gloom and doom about this development. You listen to people crying about the soft fork and wonder if they have attempted to put themselves in the shoes of how a billionaire thinks *(They haven't.)* 

Justin isn't worried about this, at all. People successful at that level don't get mad about petty things. Even if he lost his whole investment in STEEM it wouldn't really phase him. He bought this company to do something productive with it, and he's gonna do that. Ultimately, my prediction is the witnesses will cooperate with him rather than face a STEEM / STEEMClassic hard fork scenario.

I wish I'd have seen more Tron users around... but to be fair, when an iOs and Android app exists and everything is launched mainstream, they will come. Even before then, should the price pump massively, old users will return and the whole hype-train vibe will come back. Which, to be honest, I don't miss and am not looking forward to, but there's no denying I'd prefer to have Steem feeling like less of a ghost town.

I seriously wonder whether STEEM should be renamed. I strongly dislike the name of the chain. It's about the least catchy thing I can think of, is just confusing with the spelling, and not inspiring-sounding enough to represent the vision it is trying to enact.

If I were in marketing, I would re-brand the chain at the official 2.0 launch when everything is more modern—instant on-boarding of users, phone apps, instant messaging plugins, etc. Put the shady history of the early days behind, turn over a new leaf with new leadership at the helm, etc. However, it's probably unlikely, but I can still grumble about it ;-) Take care Taraz!

I have never been on a site that is so addictive as this is. I came with no intentions but much curiosity due to the constant haranguing of @uwelang. It was the best thing that ever could have happened to me. 

I was love at second sight. The first sight made me run away screaming. Once I got over the learning curve, it was a match made in heaven.

The house stuff (whether you're looking, buying or selling) never fails to eat massive chunks of time regardless of where in the process you are XD Hope the big orgaisations involved don't drag their feet with the paperwork (that's the worst, they expect you to have everything ready immediately but seem to think they can take as long as they like to get back to you coz they're huge and busy).

You're much more interesting as a human than as a gem ;D Unless you're a Crystal Gem in which case you'd just be interesting XD
