Is it a happy hardfork, or is it a Ned?

In the last 3+ years, the only days I have missed posting are forced by hardforks with unintended consequences. Not too bad, it is only a handful out of the last 1000 and more. 

What I have learned is that do not expect the first post to post, so keep it short, just in case. I guess most people don't have a problem with keeping their posts brief these days. I prefer to get my thoughts out of my head fully, as it is pretty cluttered in there and I can't afford a cleaner. 

Incase this does go through, expect some funkiness while things settle. For example, I noticed on my @Peakd blog roll comment numbers  weren't registering correctly. It'll sort out in time, so don't worry too much. If there is anything major, don't worry too much either, as that'll sort out in time too. 

Hopefully it is relatively painless. 

The larger the community grows and the more apps that Hive supports, the more people will be affected by downtime and, the less people will know of what is going on. Scheduled maintenance is quite common on websites, especially financial sites like banks, but people are only patient for so long and on social media, that "long" is very *short.* Because of this, hardforks have to get smoother and smoother as more people onboard and the community decentralises further. Having said that, I am looking forward to HF25.

I will cut it off here, but remember, it'll be alright - give it time.

That is probably good after all most of them can not clean their own cobwebs after getting their piece of Parchment made of sheep skin so they can fleece the unwary. 

Yep, things are a bit wonky, I have not had to use hive.blog for some time, it is a bit different than the look of peakd, but there are always back-ups. Life goes on and at least for the most part things seem to be working, still I think I will go back to playing games for the next few hours,.

I generally use hive.blog and Peakd - I find Hive-blog easier to comment from for some reason. Habit perhaps.

I am, and it can. Mine's not great. It's 5 years old and wasn't anything special then; but I have solar power, so the electricity's free during the day. No reason not to try. Only running for 6 hours so far, no rewards yet.

If you're going to make it long write it in something else so you can paste it back in if it vanishes into the &aelig;ther the first time ;D

I've been bouncing around nodes trying to see which one if any will give me live feedback again as currently it looks like votes are going through but you don't get visual feedback til you refresh the page.  Comments are slightly easier as I get a comment sent success notification immediately followed by can't display comments error when it's doing it's partial refresh thing XD

Figure it will sort itself out by the time I get back on tonight or tomorrow :)
