I am certainly not worried about the current value of HIVE, I am more than sure that a substantial increase is coming which will compensate. Worried are those who have made The Hive their space for extra or indispensable fixed income. Since my arrival, I have considered this space as a virtual place, a place to adventure, to meet people, cultures... **To spend some time commenting and receiving replies for or against (I haven't minded).**

I don’t have much in my portfolio but I’d keep on holding and stacking up more Hive 

Ah I just used most of my HBD the other day as well! I’ve got a tiny bit left that I’ll use as I can but it would’ve been nice to use it at these prices lol. It’s all good though, these markets are getting rid of the paper hands. I think as well now that poopy pants president has been turned on, they are dumping all kinds of markets to destroy him and his team. It’s all a set up and long game with these crazy people in power. 

I just bought some the other day. Wished I'd waited. Oh, well. Guess I will grab a little more maybe when it drops  to .15 or .10.

Buying is tempting. Holding is scary. Selling for me is not an option because I think that I would just use that money for something and later would not have the funds to buy back Stake.

It seems unlikely that I will be able be to gather that 1000 spare euros I would love to have right now but maybe I will still buy at least few hundreds Hive. It will not be enough but at least it would be better than nothing.

I think we should take it easy with Hive it's not its fault it went down with 0.1$ It happened  to all cryptos too soon everything will bounce back 

Enjoy the ride, but always take something like 10% from the profits and stack it in the bank when the time is right.

Almost all of crypto is down because BTC is down. People are saying, when BTC goes up Hive/SPS/DEC barely moves, but when BTC goes down they fall as well. Most of my portfolio is on these three, so things haven't been fun lately. But at this point, I'm with you, it's basically moon or zero for me too. I just powered up half of my liquid Hive, and I'll keep on buying Hive with my HBD.

It's a good thing I don't need my crypto now, and I have faith it will all recover and more by the end of this year. Hey, you can probably answer this - what exchange is a good substiture for ionomy? In NYS, I can only use KYC exchanges.

😀 You should ask the question, why people on Hive aren't willing to actually buy Hive?

As those answers would show the problems, why it has broken down the big support, created lower low. Obviously, the technical analysis, looking at Hive chart is a waste of time from here.

1., I don't see fundementally any positive sign. Most of DHF money get wasted for nonsense things (not really know ecaxtly for what, how much, as they don't waste time to make financial reports). Also controlled by very few people. THE BIGGEST RED FLAG, WHY MOST OF PEOPLE DON'T BUY HIVE!!! It's simply not decentralized in practice! Took some time to discover it.

2., The adaption, bringing new people onboard is equal with zero.

3., Auto-voting, curation trails.

4., Gaming. They sell things for FIAT, but people can cash out only through HIVE, so, what just happened in Splinterlands, creates a huge sell pressure.

5., Growing Hive amount on exchanges.

6., Downvote insanity, and the method, how people have to beg to stop it. Opinion based downvotes, even from hivewatchers.

7., Zero ads to reach out people, who are familiar with crypto, and still have some money in their pocket, willing to spend. It can be done only online - not with racing car ads -, and if they do not want to spend for that, especially targeting western population, prefer to go towards lower developed countries, where it can be done cheaper, then results should be 100s and 1000s of new users come and stay monthly - even if they won't spend a single cent for Hive, as they are poor, so can't afford. (leofinance could add 200-300 people to their active users, and probably some of those just used different frontend before. all that's done for $250k - JOKE!!!)

8., still no welcome site, where is everything in 1 place, regularly updated. Video tutorials, all front ends and dapps, FAQ, history, main community descriptions, 2nd layer stuff etc.

9., More than half of the founders, devs are powering down since weeks - and probably selling.

10., scams, free to do anything account networks

11., no financial reports what for leofinance, valueplan spending that yearly $500k+ (but they talk about professional project management...🤣)

I think, Hive still has some potential - now see just very small, and not because price, but all the above -, but real changes necessary. However, all should start from DHF and people who control it - either get rid of those people, even with fork, or change method, that they could not control DHF anymore.

obviously, from yearly $500k+ and active user numbers stagnating, more correctly, western users with a little money declining and replaced by poor 3rd world users (and really no offence towards them, it's simply about Hive, price, adaption, dhf, sustainability) who just can't afford to spend for Hive, even much more relied on getting out something is not the way to go. For that amount, you can get major online ads campaigns in west, What would bring 1000s of users, or get same in 3rd world and onboard 10000s of thousands users.

so until it's not changed, for buying Hive, you really need to be a huge fan of Hive, and having that much in your pocket, that you don't bother you more likely will lose all, just matter of time.

Including myself, most people, even in west, knowing it, still bother, even losing just couple of $100s.

Otherwise, it wouldn't matter it's 0.15 or 0.05 or 0.50 people would buy some.

Interesting share! It's true that most people think the way you described. I used to think like that, and view price as an indicator of what's doing well or not. But these days, I go back to the fundamentals and look at the utility. Prices are crazy sometimes (I mean look at memecoins haha). Not too concerned about the current volatility, but I do see quite a number of people freaking out.

Crypto's so unpredictable brother. I'm holding onto my HIVE, but it's tough seeing the value drop. Let's hope for a turnaround soon. Funny how you said, market are really marketing as usual

I'm willing to risk all my money. I've done this before. I'm willing to spend $70k and buy ETH at $400 and HIVE at $0.05. It's nice to be a whale in Hive :)

Of course I hold and will hold, but tbh HIVE has made me disappointed. It is a coin based on a great project, does not deserve this price.
