After explaining it a little to your colleague, did he seem interested in your method of "Journaling"? Will we be having a new Hive member? I think Hive makes perfect sense for journals, our post don't always need to be focused on many, sometimes we can focus on just the one, and still people will read and comment and the author can expand for his/her future one.

What a good piece of writing my friend, that's life, it's a journey, we don't know when the end will come, faith in our departure, I liked it a lot and I identified myself as a mother when you talk about the writings that we will leave our children, maybe not like your friend on sheets of paper , but if by this means of block chains to not only reach them but many people they know of an old generation that contributed something for a better future. greetings, life and health to continue this long road that remains for us. 🙏

Blogging on the chain has replaced the old school diary method in my opinion (although I think that’s also still a great method for more private thoughts). I know that everyone is not comfortable with writing personal thoughts and experiences here but it sure has become a healthy/helpful outlet for me to share these types of things.  I do think about how every piece I write serves as a footprint for my children to read and learn more about me and my life’s journey.

Sometimes I look back a few years ago at the things I published and I see a lot of growth within myself.  It’s nice looking back and realizing how far you’ve come in many ways.

This was a good read, thanks for sharing your thoughts.  It’s nice having such a resource available to leave behind for our children to cherish :) 

My PIP (Partner in Pen) told me this exact words in a very short note where he said, *don't underestimate the power of pen. In our case, it's keyboards and pads. Because come five years from now, these words that hold no value now would hold some value because as time progresses and people begin to evolve, there'll be an ultimate search for the past. Many people won't be able to let go that easily and would try to dig up the past*. 

He gave various examples of how the Fashion world is now taking things of old, remodeling them and then presenting them with value. 

I have also thought about how this would affect my life. In his words of advice, he said... *So don't give your content for free. Because they are words locked up in a time capsule*.

Still I didn't understand what he meant but reading this post, I think I get it now. Thank you.

We live in a world where nobody will live your life instead your the one to take decision and also know steps of what to take to move positively in life in the rightful direction. All man for himself as been said we are alone in the world but throughly don't have to be.

I just wish I could see this stuff physically one day . I only see it in a picture

In order to make right decisions and attitudes in life, we shouldn't follow someone's path to success, everyone grew up in a different environment and surroundings, but yes we have values of observation and asking others advice because we live together

Thank you for these thoughts... as someone still brand new to the ecosystem, it never occurred to me I could be leaving behind snapshots of myself for my children, or for my friends. I was reminded of my grandparents and all of their lost generational knowledge (WWI and WWII veterans) and how much my Dad and I cherish the one letter we have of his mother's from the 1930s. I'm sure she never imagined what value that tiny letter would hold some day.

Strange as I also have that checkout at any time feeling. So I try to make the most of everyday.

I am often amazed at the naivety of the human beings, *and especially of those who are still young,* in relation to their assumptions and expectations that once we are gone and we are no longer on this physical earthly plane. Those that we already left behind will still are going to have the time and will be truly interested in investigating and delving into our past to supposedly try to get to know us better.

Due to my current advanced age, everything I have been able to closely observe so far and my own personal experience... Obviously I have my peculiar opinion and my own theory on the matter. But I bet and I'm positively sure you don't want to know neither my opinion or my theory. Therefore, I will reserve my opinion and will refrain from adding anything else on the matter, *respecting my hunch.*

Because, I certainly don't mean to rain on anyone's parade. Well, unless they're curious, cautious, brave and reckless enough to go outside with at least a good umbrella and raincoat and even so, risking of end up drenched despite of their bulky & heavy protective suit. };)

That's true; we don't know when we will be checked out. So, it's better to keep things in a safer place to carry out the legacy so they don't get wasted even when our existence comes to an edge. Like yours, my activity on Hive is the reflection of what I am surrounded by, what I am up to, and what could possibly be there if not at this very moment. And they make me laugh sometimes knowing that someone will/may read them and if I am lucky enough, will visualize what I went through.

I would like to capture and store it but not sure what will happen with my thoughts. I would like to reflect upon that in the future to see how my thought process has changed over the years. But, I don't think I would like others to read my thoughts. I do not want others to get influenced by thoughts that could be understood out of context.
